Slacking for Gold

Postby Graham » 11 May 2007, 15:00

We were sitting on this script until we could get the location, and I'm so glad we did.

Hopefully the lawsuit-happy I.O.C. will recognize fair use when they it.

I'm only 1:37 in, and it's already the most awesomely stupid thing I've ever seen. Graham as Russian slacker = brilliant.

Kudos, gentlemen. Kudos.

James' mustache, while not as bushy as I would have preferred, was nevertheless quite adequate.

We may have to name a fighter after him. I'll just get blown up before the season ends, anyway, so what the hell.

Also,

Paul-you took one for the team there, for humor many people might miss.

How did you swing the chesterfield in the Oak Bay High west gym?

Edit: Seeing that you thank Mrs Lehman I guess that you did not sneak in. With a couch.

Why have seven of the last eight videos been Shorts?

At first I was thinking "yeah, this was good, but it wasn't great." but then Paul's butt cramps and everyone sticking their hands down their pants came in, and I couldn't stop giggling.

James, I loved your moustache.

How many times did it take Morgan to catch the remote he slapped off the arm of the couch? I was amazed at how well that worked. :D

We need the Bros. Steacy to dress up in silly gym outfits and pose for the Austrian Team, or something. Is there a Women's Slouching Event? Will Morgan ever get a chance to shine in his true skill, Masterbation? Or should he simply pick up Air-Sex?

Also, that mustache is Graham's portable uberstache from previous movies, if I am not mistaken.

I think they're purposely avoiding the script I sent in, that's why. TuT

Being a pretty avid slacker myself, I find this hilarious. Just the idea of training in slacking is funny enough, you've gotta get someone willing to do a great deal of hard work to slack like the best, which is probably why I'd never get into it, I'm too much of a slacker, to be slacking all the time.

I guess all that Tibetan training pays off in this event.

That was really funny, my favorite video in a while! I loved the sticking hands down the pants, and the synchronized chip eating..although you could see it was on every four beats from Paul bobbing his head ;). Which isn't really a bad thing; I mean, they were practicing

The hands down the pants was great because..well....while I was watching it, guess where my hand was? ;) (too risque?)

Great job, fellas!

That... is... GENIUS!!! I am petitioning the USOC to get a team together. Anyone want to choreograph a synchro slouching event?

HOLY FREAKING COW!

That was fantastic! Really pro looking CG intro and mad remote flipping skills! I also like the way the photos were aged to certain decades.

This is A-Grade Film-Fest material, guys. Bravo!

If slacking was an olympic sport, you wouldn't stand a chance against me. I have a strict training program that i follow through every weekend. :D

The remote flip from the side of the couch impressed me.
