The Zombie apocalypse thing is pretty interesting. I guess it depends mostly on if they are magic or biological zombies. The magical kind are not actually kept together by muscle and skin, but rather by magic. When they rot away their skeletons stay together.
Problem is, there's so many kinds of zombies that you should probably fit your approach to the specific situation.

Also on Doctor Who: old series I would go for Jon Pertwee over Tom Baker any day. He is like James Bond and Q at the same time.

About those people that are baffled that you do all sorts of other stuff; you could look at that as you guys being successful in communicating that information, since the fact that they made that comment means that they figured it out! Especially if they don't mention how long they have been following whatever it was that got them in contact with you guys in the first place

I'm with Graham on the issues of Zombies:

Magic zombies, okay fine. They're magic. Magic does whatever.

But as soon as anyone pitches non-magical zombies the whole plan just falls apart (literally). In addition to the fact that they're just going to putrefy or freeze depending on the weather, as an article pointed out:

zombies need to hunt humans to survive and reproduce.
humans are zombies #1 predator
this would be like if zebra needed to hunt and kill lions in order to breed

Wait a minute... Isn't that the "Things on My Head" guy on the left in this podcast? And the guy on the right and looks like "Epic Nunchuk Fail" guy. And both of them sound like the guys from Unskippable. :P

In all seriousness, though, what the situation described means is that they've never gone to the main LRR site. :D

Jim and Bob conclude their videos with "for more jim check out destructoid..." "for more Bob check out..." and movie bobs movie poster "this is happening" stingers

Could you include a rotating bit in your end credits, do a "iconic" image of your other shows?

Kathleen and Graham at the checkpoint desk with a bottom text
"We mock real video game industry news on Checkpoint
http://www.penny-arcade.com/patv/show/checkpoint"

The Unskippable sign with the name being "We mock cut scenes"

The Loading Ready Run logo with "weekly comedy videos posted every week for 10 years!"

...

creating them might take a little work but sticking them in for three to 5 seconds in each credit roll should be reletivly easy, and just rotate through Week one in the LRR video you pimp checkpoint, week two you pimp Unskippable, week three MTGO academy, week four feed dump ... with the week after you release Friday nights it gets a special nod.

Then post a direct link to those under the video?

The thing about the whole "everyone should post something to the Internet" is that... I've been making videos for years now, and I've had maybe two people say something really bad. I've only deleted one comment ever. And I made a whole series that was basically troll and moron bait.

Maybe I've fallen into the Anti-net where nobody ever wants to give me a real criticism. Now would be the time I'd LOVE some, since I just posted that huge pilot for my theoretical review show (and some of my IRL friends have provided), but the Internet that gives out nastiness also occasionally gives out praise to any old thing as if praise was stolen property they don't want to get caught with.

You know Graham said that part of the LRR creative proses is eating babies. I for one am pro baby and do not appreciate this baby eating policy.

Had to do it.

Thank you for saying nice things about Britain/England; I get slightly tired of people I know slagging it off.

This may just be because Britons tend to complain to a roughly equal degree regarding everything from nuclear war to a wonky drainpipe.

re: people not knowing that you do other things, I recall Mike Krahulik saying that someone *at PAX* came up to him and said "Hey, you're one of the judges on Strip Search!"

(He made it sound like he just politely said "yes," but was internally thinking "...do you know where you are?")

That sort of thing has kinda of been Mike and Jerrys dream since the second pax. They want to attend pax, maybe do a panel or two rather than get mobbed every time they walk into the hall.

I talked to Jerry at the end of my PAX video, when he talks to Double Batman. Nobody's gone out and said, "Hey, that's Tycho!" People have pointed out Jonathan Coulton and Slowbeef and Diabetus (but they were identified with a graphic under it). I left the graphic out for Jerry because I thought it'd ruin the joke. The video's here, if you wanna see it.

So yeah, people apparently still don't know what they look like.

While I "knew what they looked like" technically for a while, I didn't know which one was which until Strip Search.

Jerry Holkins = Tycho Brahe = The Writer (bald one)
Mike Krahulik = John "Gabe" Gabriel = The Artist (tall guy with tattoos)
This is not to say that what their characters say are their actual opinions; they are still characters.

Mike/Gabe/the artist is the only one who stands up to watch artists work during SS episodes. So if you're a fan of that series, it's pretty easy to tell the difference.
