Re: Loading Time - LRR 500
Well this was a positive surprise. I figured there wouldn't be an LT for this, since the whole video is basically an LT for the first 500 videos.
Happy to have been wrong.

Re: Loading Time - LRR 500
Loading Time just seems to ooze gif-able material doesn't it. Also, I have worn those horse masks before and they do not smell great. LRR 500 is a racing event waiting to happen, preferably Wacky Races style.
Oh-h-h-h SNAP... Concede.

Ain't that the truth! For your viewing pleasure...
Man, this was a weird Loading Time. In the best way.
EDIT: Bonus round!

Re: Loading Time - LRR 500
Okay. This is kind of embarrassing to admit... But when I got to the part where Graham is inspecting the odor from the warm camera, and he holds it up to the side of the screen and says "Take a huff of that."... I kind of leaned in towards the screen and tried to sniff it in compliance.

I think it's safe to say I can't repel gifs of that magnitude! I'd doff my hat to you but, well, y'know...

Consider this signature a museum piece, since I love it and am unlikely to change it ever.

This should go in the "not really useful information anymore" pile, but my understanding of the long-play mode on Mini-DV is that it's the same resolution and compression, (so in a sense the same quality of image) but there was a higher chance of it glitching out.

I came to ask that very question, and now I don't have to.

Oh man, when I got my new camera that used memory for footage instead of tapes was the best day ever. It wasn't just the realtime dumping from camera to computer that was a pain, it was that the process was sensitive enough to buffer failures that you really really didn't want to even TOUCH the computer while the process was going on, so forget multitasking during that hour.
So much ICK about tapes that I can forget about now.

I spent too much time playing Hotline Miami. When I saw horsemaskJames I found myself thinking "Oh god Alex! Stay away from the doors!"
I need to find one of those masks, so I can make a creepy Pinky Pie or Rainbow Dash. Then I can seek out the creepy Fluttershy and have amazing adventures.

Disturbing horsemask is disturbing.
At the risk of turning this into a "Can You Top This?" thread:
No no. Pain is 1992 when CD burners cost $10,000, ran at only 1X, and could not be physically disturbed in any way lest you foul the burn. Even walking heavily across the room could jiggle the laser and make your disc unreadable. And you had to burn them using a Mac II running System 7 with the network cable unplugged and all extensions disabled (because System 7 wasn't a real operating system).

Still makes me a little sad that Matt was not able to be involved with the 500th episode or the 100th episode of Feed Dump
