@ Paul: There's a British show from Channel 4 called Grand Designs that's been going for over a decade now which is all about architecturally interesting and quirky house building projects, each 60minute episode follows a building from start to finish.

Is that the one with the pre-built house where the builders were German and the guy got his own cranes in from Germany because he didn't trust British cranes, then when he found out that the tiling from one end of the house to the other was out by, like a millimetre or something he had them do it all again.

I tend to respond as you guys talk, so here are my thoughts:
I'd have figured "longest single shoot" was Desert Bus.
Gibb needs to have a talk show a la "between two ferns."
I could rig up a remote control pad for a microwave pretty easily. It'd be pretty trivial to adapt multiple microwaves of the same (or similar) types to use the same pad.

I think some stuff for another fun with microwaves could be the expired contents of LRRs fridge. Put that "puffy" carton of 6 month old cream in the microwave!
To be serious for the love of god don't really do that I don't want to be responsible for your untimely deaths!
Also bring back the Gibb!

TheGhostOfZero: quite probably, there's been a few of the german kit-build houses on Grand Designs, although that's not one I can recall seeing.

Am I daft, or didn't we have an ASKLRR thread that got totally skipped?
Re: LRRcast for 2013-06-07
You are not daft!
We actually never recorded that LRRcast, is the problem
I wanted to answer those this time, but James had already posted to Facebook and blahblahblah we will answer them next time. Sorry about that!

Ah.
I saw the longer podcast and I was like, "I guess they'll get to both sets, or something."
Mystery solved!

So uh.
I drew the cat joke from the last part of the podcast, since I happened to be listening to it and drawing anyway
