Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory, Part 1

Postby Kathleen » 26 Aug 2013, 08:42

E3 would definitely be more entertaining if it was like this game.

I suspect Microsoft is trying to overcompensate for something. I wonder what?

Point of order: Neptune is supposed to be Sega. I mean, the Sega Neptune was a thing. Also, she refers to a... sister? as "NepGear" (Game Gear).

Also, SEQUEL PLZ.

If that indeed is SEGA, why is it not a zombie?

I think we can handle a part 2. All those episodes with the Atelier games have prepared us for this.

I said it on the escapist and I'll say it here, it's titled part one. There must be a part two

Is this a thing? Having random dialogue just scroll past a still anime picture of five randomly dressed anime girls? How does that count as a game, or really anything?

It sounds like the producers of this video spent all their animation budget on the first bit, then just did a Google search for anime, stuck it into their video and put text against it.

Although, terrible cut scenes do make for very entertaining Unskippables...

Much like the Atelier series, I'm once more baffled by what the hell gameplay might look like in this thing.

I think Part 2 is a must. Also what is the gameplay like?

I'm a fan of Atelier games. I think I can handle 5 minutes of dialogue. I trust Graham and Paul to make it entertaining. Hell, they made the opening of Eternal Sonata entertaining.

My vote is for y'all to do a part 2!

The fans have spoken we want y'all to be tortured watching the same picture for 5 minutes.

Do a part 2 if you can think of cool, funny things to say. Call me crazy, but that's the sort of rule of thumb I'd stick to. You guys generally come up trumps.

Unless you've got a different cool game you're itching to get to.

Being that it's the point of Unskippable, to do these god forsakenly aweful opening cutscenes, and since you DID put a part 1 after the title, fully intending on doing a part 2, legally you are obligated both contractually and morally to do a part 2. This bit of advice was brought to you by Angry Black Man Legal Aids. Losing cases since 1976. (tm)

Now having said all that, and after my "wtf aftershock", I am curiously interested the part 2 to all of this. I mean What The Fuck... And if the Xbox's tits got any bigger, they would of had their own game. (and probably do!)

You mock, but surely some kind of a trophy is deserved for starting this game.
Also, vote yes on part 2.

It's an RPG series, as far as I can tell, and it has an anime currently airing in Japan.

I'm actually thinking about picking up one of the games in the series. I mean, a JRPG that pokes fun at the console wars? Why not?

Ok, I would watch a part 2, but given that we aren't getting part 2, and another Unskippable, are we willing to give up whatever game they would be doing instead?

I find it troubling that my brand loyalty to Sony is so prevalent that even when it's an anthropomorphic avatar parodying the Playstation i'm still rooting for it to beat all the others...I...I think i have a problem, I might be addicted to Sony. I think I have a problem guys :|

I agree with Graham about the sweatpants. Those girls clearly aren't dressed for gaming.... (?) Oh, yes, please, I want a part 2!
