The Loading Ready Run Kickstarter
Re: The Loading Ready Run Kickstarter
Did Lord Hosk really buy the t-shirt tier? It still shows as open...
If he did/does, I have an aunt who does all sorts of quilting crafts, and may be coerced into recycling t-shirts for craft-along goodies...

Lord Hosk did initially during the Kickstarter launch, but later changed his chosen reward tier.

Are gift cards pretty guaranteed to be accepted by Kickstarter, regardless of region? I live in the States and my debit card wasn't accepted and goddamnit I'm giving LRR money somehow.

Re: The Loading Ready Run Kickstarter
I believe that in the USA Kickstarter uses Amazon Payments so any form of payment that works with Amazon Payments should work.
I managed to get one of the Creepy Dolls and I have also added a tennis ball via a second account. I also want the shirt + DVD combo but since this is an unlimited tier I will wait and see if I can add it to one of the others.
I should have posted earlier on my feelings about The Last Season of Sketches. I have been watching LoadingReadyRun since season one and LoadingReadyRun is a big part of my life. Over the last ten years what LoadingReadyRun is has evolved. In season one many videos were unscripted and a large amount of what was posted as the weekly update would be bonus videos today. It is natural for LoadingReadyRun to evolve. My hope is after the eleventh season, LoadingReadyRun will still be producing some sort of video a week. I am a bit sad there will be no more sketches but I have grown to expect some sort of video from LoadingReadyRun every week. I would quite upset if there was no longer a weekly video of some form.

For everything else I've backed, yeah, but that was all in the states. Amazon Payments isn't coming up for this one. Ah, well, guess I'll try it anyway; it's not like I'll lose much if it doesn't work.

So with the KS being at ~$95k now, all that needs to happen is to get ~$1600 a day over the next 25 days and they'll reach their funding goal, seems pretty likely that they'll hit it far sooner. Hope you guys have some other stretch goals planned, you're going to need them.

WHY DID I NEVER HEAR THESE DURING DESERT BUS?! I've watched the last three of them and I have posters #5 and #6! I AM DISAPPOINT IN ME!
Well now I donate three dollars and sixty-two cents and get my music. Woo!

Awww. Only people who give you money are allowed to visit and/or be press-ganged into service? I are sad.
I are also donating to my first Kickestarter ever! I apologize for not donating more, but my credit card has a $5k limit. >_o

I, for one, don't have mixed feelings about this.
You guys will not be making less content, if anything this gives you a great opportunity to organize all the things you're doing.
Also, I LOVE the idea of the LRRplays.
Can't wait to see the Kickstarter succeed and have another epic season of sketches.
Mara.

The add-on options are live and are explained on the Kickstarter page.

No, if you're in town anyway and want to say, AND we're around, you can come by. Same as now.DeltaStrata wrote:Awww. Only people who give you money are allowed to visit and/or be press-ganged into service? I are sad.
But for us to set aside our whole day for hanging out and playing games? That's the pledge

Wait that was you?
So i finally managed to actually back LRR, Kickstarter for some reason really didn't like my Credit card :/
LRR why did you have to do this just after I bought a new laptop and a bunch of expensive things, I couldn't give you as much money as I wanted too

I am honestly disappointed in the add-on system... what I want, is a pin, a DVD, AND the tennis ball. Apparently this will not be an option.
Maybe I can convince work to give me a couple days off, head north, and just huck a tennis ball at you of my own volition.

Don't you see, you don't need a kickstarter to inflict testicular damage on LRR with tennis balls, the power has always been inside you

Re: The Loading Ready Run Kickstarter
If they get enough money with the Kickstarter (I'm looking at you Last 3 Days of the Kickstarter!), I wonder if they could bring everyone on full-time. I wonder if they would all even want to be full-time.
We have had the internet for a long time. Why have we only had Kickstarter for such a short time?

Well, the thing about the DVDs is that they aren't really Kickstarter exclusives, so you'll be able to buy them normally once they're out. Granted, that means that money won't go to the Kickstarter, so I can understand if that's why you're disappointed. It is less advantageous for LRR, but for the backer, it comes out about the same.

I realize I haven't been around as much lately.
But I'm a little disappointed.
I love the weekly shows.
And I'm sad to see it go.

Re: The Loading Ready Run Kickstarter
My card is getting rejected on this Kickstarter even though I've used it successfully on other ones. What kind of alternatives are available to get this working?
