Speaking of chemistry, I was reading an article recently that talked about how if you put elements under enough pressure, they start acting super janky (scientific terms there). Like if you put enough pressure on xenon & hydrogen, eight hydrogens will come in and take all eight electrons from the outer orbital. Like, they just take the whole thing. And I put this in the thread of lols because I couldn't stop laughing when I read that. "Noble gasses, nonreactive? Hah! I laugh in the face of your science!"

Oxygen is scary stuff. Super reactive... there's a reason "oxidation" is named after it, why so many things burn when surrounded by it. It's corrosive, and is a carcinogen. Life on the planet nearly disappeared when it showed up, before we learned to breathe it.
