Welcome new peoples! I have nothing odd or scary to contribute to the converation, but what is this business about the contract? I love contracts.

Lovely... now if you could just sign here, here and on both sides of the bag then I think we're all set.
Around here, that's basically a greeting. Hello, by the way.

Re: Introduce yourselves! (A friendly topic for new members)
Not a new person, but I fell like a reintroduction might be necessary, given that I've posted quite a few times very recently, and out of the blue for some people.
Name's John, although J or Wicked works. 32 years old in the "golden" state of California, loving the music that is heavy and/or computerized - industrial, dubstep, industrial metal, etc - probably playing too much Magic these days, since my regular videogame playing has suffered a bit.
Oh, and I co-host a podcast.
So, there's me.

Actual new person!
I've been a fan of LRR for a couple years but for some reason never got around to clicking that "Forum" link way in the corner. I decided it was time for that to change.
I'm an avid gamer, MTG player, and mad scientist. Well, mad graduate student anyways. I have appeared briefly in a PAX loading time (you get to figure out which one) and several stream chats. Sometime soon, a member of the LRR crew will be pelted by a tennis ball with my name on it, and I'm looking forward to that probably more than I should.

When the upkeep takes longer than the main phase, I know I've done my job well.

I should introduce myself before someone calls me a bot again.
Hi, my name is Andreas. I'm currently studying computer science in University of Tartu, if studying could be stretched to mean reading LRR forums and playing MTG on the laptop they gave me. For the last bit I blame the LRR crew and not my inability to pay attention in various mathematics lectures.

What sort of mad science do you practice? I'm doing my PhD in astrophysics.
We are all made of star dust. However we are also made of nuclear waste.
Remember to think before you post.

Psychology. Specifically the cognitive science of causality. The more I do, the more I'm not sure causality really exists.

Re: Introduce yourselves! (A friendly topic for new members)
Hey guys,
I'm Azzy, 17 from the (not so) mystical land of U.S. Suburbia. I've been watching LRR for roughly two years now and I never really been to the forums before since I never really been a part of one before. Music is my passion; both listening and playing (If you listen to ska music, you are my best friend). I also play Pathfinder and I am an amateur DM. I don't really play with anyone who is experienced as I like to teach new people how to play a game and introduce them to the various tropes and whatnot...
Yeah, so that's me. Hi.

I'd say get out while you still can, but it's too late. Once you've posted here, it's only a matter of time until someone claims your soul.
So I guess you'll be around awhile. Welcome!

The solution is clearly more lemon curd.
What? Lemon curd is the solution to all of life's problems.
Hello, by the way. This is kinda what you get used to

Re: Introduce yourselves! (A friendly topic for new members)
Hi everybody!
Well I figured it was about time to make one of these forum accounts, what with the Kickstarter giving me exclusive access to a special forum and all.
I'm Phoenix! I hail from the far away land of Calgary Alberta. I'm in my fifth (AND FINAL) year at the U of C for a pretentious Environmental Engineering degree. I'm a giant metal head, loves games of all shapes and sizes though SRPGs are my favorite, and thanks to LRR I've become very interested in card games.
I've been a LRR fan since Desert Bus 4, which I accidentally stumbled upon while watching Zero Punctuation. I happened to watch this scene and then tried to find out what the hell it was referring to... well, that night I watched all of commodoreHUSTLE season 1 and I've been a Runner ever since.

Hello everyone Tim aka Zaiman here.
Long time watcher of hilarious Canadian comedy, first time forum user.
Decided to finally make a forum account because of the kickstarter survey.
Don't know whether I will be posting much in the future, I am kind of a lurker and sometimes rather busy.
A short introduction:
I'm 25, finishing up my degree in Computer Science with an internship and living in Belgium.
I like reading, Computer games and board games.

Hello Zaiman, great to see you here. Always good to see more Benelux people here.
Now if you just sign here we can finalize your forum subscription... we're out of ink though, so would you mind volunteering a bit of blood? Won't be any trouble I assure you.
