I guess Graham's character was more subtly annoying - presented in an "I'm always right, everyone else is stupid", elitist kind of way. Maybe. Just my opinion. Not like it matters anyway. :P

Graham's character wasn't as annoying as Kathleen's to me, but he wasn't likeable either. I did agree with him more, but I actually get some of the arguments made (even if the whole thing was in jest) for Kathleen's side.

Of course, the right one here is Paul. And while we all say 'this is so obvious and everyone should do it!', I know many, if not all of us, end up in the same kind of arguments ourselves. It all depends largely on the what each individual finds important.

I think it is illustrative to note that I am basically doing the same delivery as Simon, the children's show host from Rapidfire and Magicland. I think it works because the remarks are directed at people with similar maturity levels ;)

The best argument I heard about selfies was Tracy Clark-Flory's: They're not meant to be for other people. They're for you. They're a memento, a moment in time and the emotions that go along with it, captured. "They may not be the most honest or vulnerable portraits of despair, but they are attempts at connection. We all want our sadness to matter, just as we want our lives to count for something."

I thought that was a pretty good one. I'd have liked to have seen a few more shades of that in Kathleen's character. Except, y'know, made more comedic.

Also, my main complaint? I really wanted Alex's segment to be its own one as well. I wanted it to spiral off into quadruple meta. Plus... I'm really on Alex's side, I think. Fuck it, I don't care what your views are. SPEAK UP. Just speak up intelligently and interestingly. I don't care if I disagree with you, what annoys me the most is those who never have anything to SAY.

I would buy a "Coalition for Sanity on the Internet" shirt, I would buy 10 of them. (Please note that this number has a 90% margin of error.)

I wonder if I can somehow get this to be shown to all the kids at my school. I don't know how many times I have walked down the hallway and heard people fighting (nearly screaming at each other) for taking selfies outside of class.

I was Team Paul, but Alex made some VERY strong points, so I'm going to have to go with his stance on the issue.

I second the motion for CSI (Coalition for Sanity on the Internet) merch. Preferably in either t-shirt or baseball cap form... though pins and/or stickers would also be acceptable.

I can't say I found Graham's character "annoying", but he was very unlikable, which I presumed was the point. Kathleen's character was less unpleasant in that sense, but was pretty annoying. So I thought it was pretty balanced in that way, in the end.

Yes! Paul! The calm "who gives a shit?" attitude! If only the internet were such a place.

Also, the "Coalition for Sanity on the Internet" logo NEEDS to be a shirt. I'd buy one. I'd buy twelve. I'm throwing money at the screen but nothing's happening.

In the end, does it really matter? After all, everyone knows that it's Rainbow Dash who's best pony.

Raise your hand if you ever watched "drama llama" on youtube and immediately thought of that after watching this video (raises hand)

Seriously, tough, internet opinions just don't matter! (for the most part, anyway)

So what video stabilization method was used in post? A lot of that fun jello affect. Its always a bit of a trade off between sharpness and stabilization.

Well, I agree with Graham as well, but in the whole picture internet opinions don't matter much. Still, it's fun to express internet opinions and endulge in debates about selfies. I guess Paul's argument would be more appropiate when internet discussions escalate.
