Those beats are so fresh that all I can think of is the "white people" gif that kept popping up in chat.

Ahhh this was so "terrible" it almost literally made me fall out of my chair laughing. This was great. Love love love it. Pretty much didn't stop laughing throughout the entire thing.

I think the in-joke density was about right. Enough to make DB viewers feel clever, but few enough as to be watchable to outsiders (as long as they know what DB is)

I'm similar, but instead I was yelling things like 'Why would you do this to me!?' while I was watching, then curling up in the fetal position and whimpering 'why' over and over.

In a good way.

I kept waiting for someone to stop and acknowledge the badness mid video, and then it ended, and I realized that it was so much better just being fully committed. Simply wonderful. Just....so happy this exists. My wife lost it at Andrew's "and also I can't sing....."

Yes... Intentionally terrible = funny, in this case. :D

The monotone made me think that every single verse could be replaced with:

We're so tired.
We're so tired.
We're so bussing, bussing tired.

White just called, it wants its everything back. Seriously, you guys, that rap was so white it desaturated white itself. There isn't any left. #FFFFFF is now a kind of a stained ivory.

Nice work!

I think I have been spoiled by previous post Desert Bus Desert Bus music videos (Video Killed the Internet Star, Tucson or Bust, The Tale of Matt Wiggins and Desert Power). Admittedly three of them are parodies and the other (Tucson or Bust) is an Cownden original.

While an intentionally terrible rap including most of the Desert Bus Crew was entertaining and a good way to recap this Desert Bus it did feel like a little bit of a let down compared to the usual musical output of LoadingReadyRun.

That was hilarious. Well done!

Can someone explain why Cam has a nosebleed while in the background? Is that an in-joke I am missing (having missed some of Desert Bus this year).

Jer plugging the app was pretty good.

The funny part for me was the really poor-quality video since I watched all week in HD. :D

Soooooo white.

I had to watch it a couple times before I caught the joke in Ian's bit. I love it, though I think Dix gets the best part of all.

This was all done in a day of course (writing, recording, shooting), much like previous DB videos. All during Moonbase cleanup too. Which is why we usually do parodies, because we can get better musical quality with less effort.

We wanted to avoid a parody this time, and so the "super bowl shuffle" style video made the most sense.
I still enjoy it on its own merits, mind you :)

I'm really conflicted on this one, guys.

I actually was able to watch enough of Desert Bus to get the jokes. It was still really funny. But...I don't know. The deliberately awkward is still awkward to me.
It's all over but the crying. And the taxes.

I like to think Graham spent this shoot yelling "No, no, no! I need less rythym, less talent! You're too on key! I ask for amateurs and they send me these mother-bussing professionals!"

Can someone on the crew tell us what was on the 3 shame tickets (James, Kathleen, Beej)? Also, who was in the horse mask behind Ashton? (Based on the shirt, my guesses are Andre, Matt, or Blake.)
Professor STAFF wrote:Can someone explain why Cam has a nosebleed while in the background? Is that an in-joke I am missing (having missed some of Desert Bus this year).
You'll see Kathleen poke him in the nose at 0:41

Edit: Close inspection reveals Beej's ticket says "I didn't do my job."
