cH - Laughter
Re: New video! commodoreHustle: Laughter
I've had a serious hate on for laugh tracks recently but I must say your meta use of them in this was very enjoyable. Nice work!

Beej and Alex went on quite the joyride considering the hardware shop they went to is right by the Moonbase and the beach they drive by is on the other side of town.

btw, you forgot Alex in the appearing credits (bet I'm the 100th person to mention that or something).
He went completely uncredited. Little surprising.
That said, I was laughing all the way from "I wouldn't be caught dead in a sitcom." ...Except for the actual bits with the laugh track. Which I guess was intentional.

Re: New video! commodoreHustle: Laughter
I legit laughed at James saying "Oh, I think it's working", not really because that was funny, but because he delivered it in such an amazingly sitcom-ish way.
Funny thing though; bad use of a laugh track is a terrible thing, but the presence of a laugh track is not necessarily an indicator of bad comedy. Case in point: Monty Python's Flying Circus had a laugh track. As did Red Dwarf.
This was a dead-on parody of the kinds of sitcoms that use it really badly though.
Maybe Beej lives on the other side of town. I mean, they did have to drop by his house to pick up all those games.

I'm sorry I forgot Alex.

Loved it. The spanners were an excellent add-on, whether or not they were thought up on the spot or a deep reference that went right over my head.

Point of order!
It was recently established that the CH LoadingReadyRun had less than a hundred veiwers, one less because they lost Austrailia. How did they get 2000 Kickstarter doners?

Re: New video! commodoreHustle: Laughter
As I have previously theorised, the Hustleverse operates on a different internet architecture to our own; all internets are country-specific rather than being a single global entity. 'Losing Australia' merely refers to their losing the right to broadcast their internets down under.

I will seriously miss Commodore Hustle after the YRR of LRR is over.

Re: cH - Laughter
Doing another full season of CH is something they said they might do after the YRR. Its not by any means a lock, but "if we come up with a good idea, and have the time we might do it, it was a lot of effort to put together season one, we did a lot of running around."

Re: cH - Laughter
I love YRR and the LRR stuff from the past but CH is defiantly my favorite series. Every time I watch a new episode of CH I end up going back and watching season 1 again. I think I will finally break down and buy myself a copy this month for my birthday.
Loved the episode, but I think it needed some Matt
Oh and they are called zip ties

I would love to see another full season of CH. If they Kickstarted it I would definitely back it.

If in this universe, LRR did succeed in their Kickstarter, why were Graham and Paul trying to sell the exercise bike from DB?

So the joke with the tool+nose flew right over my head, anyone mind explaining it?
Also, your cHustle selves seem oddly responsible and not complete maniacs, it's kinda weird.

As far as I can tell, there's no deeper joke to it than the ridiculousness.
Which works just fine for me.

I assume that the cH version of LRR did not raise anywhere near as much through Kickstarter as the really LRR did.

Whenever Cameron attacks or blocks, discard a card. Cameron gets +X/+0 until end of turn where X is that card's converted mana cost. Draw a card.

This card is good. I would definitely play it. Might be broken.
Also, because it bugs me a bit, wouldn't it be "Legendary Creature- Human?"

No, that's right. Cameron is in fact the anthropomorphic personification of a human legend.

72 in the video resolved 7 January 2013, CH- LRR had 72 weekly viewers, they lost one when they made a joke about, Julia Gillard and the wallabee.

They clearly got extra donors by promising endless ball kicks.
Re: cH - Laughter
Loved it. Always excited to see new cH.
Just re-watched (forgot to Spot The Dog the first time) and was left wondering why Graham is sat on his phone on that first scene.
(Er, yeah, Spot. That's why I was looking at his butt...)

It's ok. I think we can all admit that we've stared at Graham's magnificent butt on some occasion.
