Fixed, sorta, for now. It gives the right answer at least, and that's all that matters. Fuck daylight saving, it is literally the worst idea humans have ever created.

Yeah, really. If I wanted to store daylight, I'd rather have some storage container for it, so I can release it later, on my own terms.

I think the best way to avoid the time confusion when you guys switch back is to just give a warning the week before in a video.....cause basically anyone outside of north america is now watching at a different time, since you are the only ones that changed.

What? Ben Franklin wrote a very famous SATIRE of the idea of DST...

...are you telling me he later became a proponent of it??? :(

But also FUCK George Walker Bush, for taking the near-universal annoyance of Daylight Saving Time, and ISOLATING DIFFERENT REGIONS OF THE WORLD BY CHANGING WHEN DST STARTED AND ENDED IN ONE REGION!

Now EVERYONE gets to enjoy the fun that was merely limited to people in or interacting with places like Arizona and Saskatchewan...

It's even better in Australia, as mostly the south-eastern states do DST, while the northern states don't... NSW/ACT, VIC, TAS and SA all have daylight saving, while QLD, NT and WA don't.

So, during the winter, we have:
WA: UTC+8:00
NT, SA: UTC+9:30
QLD, NSW/ACT, VIC, TAS: UTC+10:00
but in summer, we have:
WA: UTC+8:00
NT: UTC+9:30
QLD: UTC+10:00
SA: UTC+10:30
NSW/ACT, VIC, TAS: UTC+11:00

As a bonus, it used to be the case where those 4 states that have DST did it at different times... so there'd be a couple weeks each year where the NSW clocks and VIC clocks showed different times, while the rest of the year they were the same. Happily they've managed to at least figure that much out, and now they all switch at once.

This is more of a request but there's no thread for it, so:

I'd love for the next big group stream to be Rayman Legends. Does the streaming office have a Wii U?

I think Kathleen played it before or after an MTG stream late last year. I think maybe Graham and Cam where there? I only caught the end of it, I may be wrong.

No, it was Maya who played it. It was during an MtG stream with Graham and James.

On the other hand, I'm honestly worried that I remember it so well...

Also, apparently Frog Fractions 2 is getting a Kickstarter... and it's not a joke.

Yeah... I got no idea what happened there. Something weird messed up.

The bot's running with a bunch of debugging stuff in there right now, so if you go in and try some mod-only command (I recommend "!game refresh", on the basis that if it works it won't do much) then if it works, well, at least it's working now, and if it doesn't work, then maybe it'll help me figure out what's going on...

[edit]
It seems that Twitch chat is behaving weirdly. Depending on what server you're connected to, sometimes you only get a partial user/mod list on connection, and then don't get any new JOIN/PART/MODE messages, so you don't get told about newly-joining mods either. I've restarted LRRBot and now it's connected to a working server, so it should recognise you as a mod now.

Hopefully it's a temporary thing, and I don't have to force some logic into the bot to force it to join a working server...

When /is/ the next Crossing the Streams going to air? Or I guess more importantly where are they going to announce it? I stumbled on the first one and loved it, so I want to prepare to make sure I have my schedule free to watch it live.

Could you please change the name of your twitch channel to loadingreadyrun.com so I stop getting an error page when I type that?

Also, I submit that the 'inflict a game on Alex' sessions should be called "Watch and Play."
