So, I'm building the Teleport building and I ran into a problem regarding the complex interactions between command blocks, comparators, and chunks loading and unloading. I want to see what everyone's thoughts are before I move forward on this.
We have two options moving forward: minimum amount to use or more wiring.
1. Minimum amount to use
This would be a minimum amount of money needed to use the teleporter. This would not be how much you're charged for the teleport though. The minimum amount of money would be the cost of the maximum teleport charge + the cost of your current teleport choice.
For example, say the most expensive teleport costs 500 Dongs, but you're using one that only costs 50 Dongs. That means you'd need to have 550 Dongs to use the teleporter, even if you're only being charged 50 Dongs to do it. (If you're using the most expensive one, it'd end up being double the cost.)
Pro:
Smaller wiring, which allows for about 14 teleporters.
Con:
At current projected prices, people with under about 2000 Dongs may not be able to teleport.
2. More wiring
I could wire it up so the price to pay is the price you need to use it, no more, no less. However it'll take more room and allow for less teleport options in the same space.
Pro:
Less money involved, and you only need what you have to pay.
Con:
More complex wiring would allow for only about 6 teleporters, if that.
So, what does everyone think? I'm personally leaning towards Option 1, but I'd like to know what your thoughts on the matter are. I'll give this until about Monday or so before deciding.
