If she says 'I thought you'd never ask' followed by a flirtatious grin, you are inside an incredibly bizarre romcom and should seek advice from the 'Name that film' thread.

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
Other major issue, it would not be an easy relationship based on circumstances but I would want to give it a try anyway.

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
Circumstances can be their own problem in time. Ultimately, relationships are less complicated than people make out- does person A want to rub genitals with and spend extended time being affectionate around person B, and does person B reciprocate? If answer=yes, print TentativeAttemptAtRelationship. As you say, main worry is, I think, you possibly going too early, but if you've known each other for a few weeks or so I'd hazard a guess that's time enough.
I, of course, speak as someone who has been single his entire life and doesn't look like changing any time soon, so independent corroboration/dismantling of previous statements would be appreciated.

Boy, I was gonna encourage him to go for it, but considering those possibilities, it sounds kinda dangerous. Romcoms are serious business, after all.

I will ask but I have to wait because it is the right thing to do. It may be a month until I can ask.

So I know most of you have forgotten about us, but just in case we're still on the spreadsheet... Dackwards_d and I have broken up. We are still friends though and even still living together so yeah.

Assuming you're both comfortable doing so, could you provide any explanation for the event?

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
Went on my first OKCupid date. It was nice. It didn't blow my mind each way but Tuesday, but it was nice.

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
Speaking of OKCupid, MY TURN!!
I have had almost no success with girls on that site, or any other really. Every time I think I'm hitting it off with them, they just sort of disappear. It was getting to the point that Iw as just about to give up. But then Sunday, I hopped on to see Who's New. Saw a girl about 50 miles away, which considering my town is about 50 miles form anywhere, it par for the course. She's more into DBZ than me or most of the guys I know, so that's neat. So we message each other for a bit
The other day we got to talking about the attractiveness of older celebrities, and she mentioned that her biggest celeb crush was 48. Seeing as how she didn't say who it was but gave me a single clue, I had no choice but to start guessing. First guess was somebody from Supernatural, a show she really likes, but wrong. I threw out a few more guesses but before she could respond her NIN obsession slapped me in the face, and so I send the message "Oh no wait, of course, Trent Reznor." She gets a kick out of the phrasing for some reason, but whatever, I nailed it.
Next day, I'm flipping through her profile, and I notice she mentions she sues twitter a lot. I decide to search her username on there on the off chance that she used the same name on both, mostly just to check out who she follows, on the off chance we are both fans of some increidbly niche thing she didn't mention on her profile. But when I pull it up, one of the most recent tweets is a picture of my text correctly guessing her crush along with the caption "New potential date trying to guess my celeb crush--guy's got game."
On the one hand, I feel bad for checking her out online without her knowing, but n the other hand if she wanted to keep it private she would have done so. Plus, she posted a picture of something I did, so I feel I have a right to know
But most importantly, she thinks I have game. She thinks I have game. I don't know that ever before in my life that anyone has ever accused me of having game. I don't how to react. What do internet?

If Desert Bus chat has taught me anything, it's when in doubt, panic. In fact, invite her to panic too! Make a date of it.
Re: The Big Relationship Thread
Ask her out. I'll put money down she'll say yes.
