Re: General LRL Stream Feedback
I have to admit, I'm at least finding this wave of bots entertaining thanks to some of the names.

So... what's that clip thing that people were talking about during Kathleen stream? I didn't catch what it was exactly.
If we need to look for some, maybe it'd be better to have some people look at certain youtube replays to spot specific moments and their timestamp? Like I'd be willing to do that with all of the IDDQDerp/House of Stark/Watch and Play/Let's Nope one-ofs that are up.

Trippzen wrote:D3fr0st5 and Mrphlip have either of you thought about or tried cataloging the names the spam bots are using? They all seem to be word|word|three-number-series using fairly common words like "kisser", "elbow", "gross", and "stinky" and I've seen quite a few mix and match repeats by now. I get the feeling that the naming system isn't particularly extensive and if Lrrbot can ban them on the naming system that would cut the bots down before they can even poke their heads into the stream for Lrrbot to chop off. Or do you think this would be too hard to implement without hitting other viewers? Of course, this is assuming that Lrrbot can ban straight from the user list and even then, a straight ban is a lot harsher than the current 3-strike form.
For example, Doofuselbow and Chimpelbow were two bots on Cam's stream tonight.
Wait, WHAT? I'd had some suspicions that the bot/script had been operated by a malicious troll...and now I am beginning to have specific ideas about said troll's identity (different from what I'd suspected IN the chat earlier)

One BIG moment I want to see in the identity for the clip thing. IDDQDerp - Toki. At the very end, when they defeat the final boss, Alex's battlecry of "RIDE INTO THE YOLO ZONE!" while the others are yelling for him to save.

Waitaminute. Somebody has a bot making spam accounts...and Phlip is writing a bot that kills them.

Graham is doing up a trailer for the youtube channel, and he needed some clips: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... edit#gid=0

Re: General LRL Stream Feedback
Not sure if Paul reads this, but I'm really impressed with the new live page on the main site. Very useful especially for us international viewers

I agree wooglie, the only confusing thing is when it loops back into the next day, I never consider past 12 to be the next day until you've gone to sleep. But thats my screwed up sense of time.... Point being Great Job Paul!

Re: General LRL Stream Feedback
I've been meaning to ask this for a while, but is there any chance of there being a few days (a whole week maybe) of streaming but with the times adjusted to better suit European time zones ?
I know this would probably very tiring on the gang but I would love to be able to watch some shows live without having to stay up till midnight (or more) for once
Just a thought...

Re: General LRL Stream Feedback
James's stream fits very well with Europe as he starts around 6 pm(CET) but i know the feeling i would love to watch ASTC live but can't stay up until 6 am

The Crossing the Streams they've done have been well-suited to Europeans, IIRC.

And the let's Nope was scheduled to be accesible to both europeans and australians IIRC.

Re: General LRL Stream Feedback
With the Star Citizen dogfighting module coming out next week, I wonder if any of the crew were into space sims back in the day?

Re: General LRL Stream Feedback
Oh hells yes, mind you unless any of the crew were early backers it might be a while before they can do multiplayer
Edit: Actually thinking about it, its probably not the best idea at the start at least. CIG has said the release will be buggy, after all it is an Alpha and i can't see a really buggy game being the best to stream

Re: General LRL Stream Feedback
Hopefully by the time multiplayer access is rolled out to the current half-million backers, enough of the bugs will be smoothed out enough to be streamable (certainly there are people planning to stream it).
The real downside to not being an early backer is that apparently new backers don't get Alpha access anymore, only Beta access. So it's an extra fee to get access to each Alpha module ($5 for the DFM).

Re: General LRL Stream Feedback
Someone needs to point out to Graham or whoever else uploads the streams to the LRL YouTube account that part four (the final part) of GPLP Metal Gear Rising: Revengance, part two of HoS Dark Souls, and IDDQDerp Goat Simulator have been missed. There are videos up from after the broadcast dates of these streams, so I think they've just been missed.
My computer is old and slow enough that the youtube channel is invaluable for rewatching streams, and I super appreciate it.

Re: General LRL Stream Feedback
Graham does it most of the time, but he's slowly been training others to do so as well.

Re: General LRL Stream Feedback
Is there going to be a Crossing the Streams for this month? You're kind of running out of month.
When the upkeep takes longer than the main phase, I know I've done my job well.
Re: General LRL Stream Feedback
According to Twitter the next 2 crossing the streams is on 1/6 and 22/6
