HOLY SHIT GUYS! BEARS!
Re: Friday Nights: Hero's Path - The Mastery
Great finish to a great series
I really enjoyed the whole Hero's Path, and it was pretty sweet to see you guys doing these arc-focused videos.
Hopefully others liked the series as much as I did, and Wizards'll give you more opportunities for things like this in the future. I will certainly be telling them I enjoyed it.

This has been a great series, and a great last step. Also, Alex's victory made me burst out laughing in the middle of the library. So much for pretending to work.

What card was it Alex used to win in the end?

Alex's Mind Grind for one cracked me up: I spat my tea all over my keyboard.
It is a well-known fact that those people who must want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it... anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job.

It was the "WOO! GOT THERE!" that did me in.
I had to watch it repeatedly cause I couldn't stop laughing.

After seeing how W/B Kitties, U/R Counterburn, and Green Mechanics worked well together, it makes me worried that my idea of me and my friend playing Green Devotion and B/R Minotaur won't work out so well.

I actually cackled and buried my head in a pillow at the stinger. It made me so happy.
This was a bit of a problem because I was watching with a friend who was feeling sick, so his laughing that hard was a bit unpleasant for him.

Mind Grind for one got me through the Hydra. It seemed wrong to use it on the Horde for se reason. I just had to murder some heads. (Doom Blade, actually)

I loved the monolog in the beginning for Cameron. Kathleen picking up the kitty at the end made me squee, but the cherry on top was Alex getting there. I could not breathe for a good 5 min cause i kept on hitting replay.

Not sure how many people watch LRR at my FLGS, so I may have to try the mind grind for the lulz.

"Mind Grind for 1"
Alex confirmed history's greatest monster. But also, history's funniest greatest monster.
Seriously though, this episode was solid gas, and the stinger was a stick of dynamite thrown on the pile.
And the explosion was comedy.
I might've lost track of this metaphor.

I sure enjoy watching LRR!
I wouldn't want to meet them though. I'm very allergic to cats and fun.

Best stinger ever
Picture it: I'ts 3am and I'm up way later than i meant too. just about to shut down my computer for the night and see this is up. I probably shouldn't have as i was half asleep and many of the jokes just didn't register. then the singer comes and i literally can not stop laughing. I almost woke my husband up and he's a heavy sleeper and my side hurt from laughing so hard.
figuring that it might have been being sleepy that made it so funny but i woke up this morning and played it again and no it's still that funny. a perfect way to end a great sub series.

Re: Friday Nights: Hero's Path - The Mastery
Loving the little things I'm noticing on subsequent rewatches, like Cam casting Voyage's End on his beloved Nivix Cyclops so it wouldn't get hit by the board wipe. A fantastic end to the saga. A shame Deicide wasn't the victory spell, but a Voyage's End is pretty funny too.
Also Alex's enthusiasm was just the best. Though I do believe milling this particular challenge deck isn't enough until you actually murder Xenagos... then again, now with absolutely no way for the Satyrs to attack, I suppose victory is within reach anyway.

Re: Friday Nights: Hero's Path - The Mastery
Please please PLEASE tell me that this is not the final Friday Nights for the time being and that regular Friday Nights episodes will continue even though the Hero's Journey saga is at an end? Please?

Re: Friday Nights: Hero's Path - The Mastery
Hero's Journey and Friday Nights are completely unrelated (other than roughly taking place in the same universe).
Cameron once again proves that he is my idol in all things.

Baxter turning to face the camera was the best bit. Why is this great actor not credited?
