Re: Loading Ready Fan Draft.
yeah, we are going to do Saturday 10AM PST, 1PM EST, 6PM BST Sunday 3 AM AEST
if I got the time zones right.
Hopefully this will allow the people in Europe to join in, if it doesnt we can try to shift it a little. My goal with switching things back and forth is that it wont be JUST for North America.

Well, it cuts out Aus, but I can't complain, after winning one of the last ones. I like the switching back and forth, and appreciate that there are more NA fans than anywhere else.

Re: Loading Ready Fan Draft.
yeah there is really no good time to hit east and west coast of the us with Australia and Europe.
If it seems reasonable the next 5th one could be a euro aust time focused if there is enough interest, like late morning saturday Europe early evening Australia late late for the US like.
Saturday, 11:00:00 AM BST
Saturday, 8:00:00 PM AEST
Saturday, 6:00:00 AM EST
Saturday, 3:00:00 AM PST
would that work for our austro-european compatriots?

To be honest, if I'm ever going to make one of these (which I probably won't for a while), daytime AEST works best for me because I work nights. I appreciate that's a huge pain for other Australians, though.

Re: Loading Ready Fan Draft.
We have a time for that!
First and Third week of the month:
Saturday 9PM EST 6PM PST Sunday 2AM BST Sunday 11AM AEST
Hope you can make it one of these times, if we get enough players playing we can try for more times but I dont want to make it like "well tuesday at 7:30, and Thursday at noon, and every other monday at 2:00" because first it gets hard to follow and second the ideal situation for this is like 14+ people so we can get a couple pods going and if we plan on too many times Im afraid it would become like 4 or 5 people showing up and then no one would play because they got one game against a fan so its not worth trying to schedule around.

Re: Loading Ready Fan Draft.
hmmmm I was thinking it was the 5th weekend and it would be Friday 9PM EST 6PM PST Saturday 2AM BST Saturday 11AM AEST as ArchieO suggested and then the 6th 7th and 8th weekend would count as weekend 1.
I didnt even consider that different time zones would even effect what month it was... No wonder the british empire fell, they were all like "wait its tuesday in Sydney but its March here and the queens birthday is in july so she is 32 here but 96 in India? wait that cant be right"

I'm all for everyone using UTC and just be awake during different hours. Scrap time zones and daylight saving.

Re: Loading Ready Fan Draft.
Scrapping daylight savings time would be great. The original intent was to save money because of energy use, now it costs...

If we were to scrap DST, then I would want the whole year on what the current DST is.

Re: Loading Ready Fan Draft.
So, we narrowly failed to fire today (~4 hours ago).
Not counting the six who were there (but then two had to leave and one joined the wrong pod on accident), is there still interest in the earlier timeslot? Anyone maybe, who can usually make it but couldn't today, or just forgot which week it was?

Eh I would have LOVED to join in but I work weekends, night time is best for me some of the time.

Could have joined if I were in the same state as my home.

Game day may have thrown the numbers a little, it's true. Also I got my days wrong, I thought we were firing in 70 minutes from now.

Re: Loading Ready Fan Draft.
I think for the time being it may need to switch to be just one time every week until things get going more as much as I hate to discount the European fan base if the events dont fire its not fun for them one way or the other.
I wish I could have played but our whole house has come down with a wicked bug of some kind.
What does everyone think about just one time for like a month or so until things get going?
Saturday 8PM EST 5PM PST Sunday 1AM BST 10AM AEST
or an hour earlier or later?
Of course nothing will work for everyone but let me know.

An hour later would be better for me.
