Doctor who?

Postby AdmiralBarikir » 01 Jul 2007, 17:45

I've been meaning to look for Doctor Who on TV but It's only on BBC America, but only very spuriously. Can anyone recommend an alternative legal source to view this geeky gold i've only been able to hear about? (I live in America, so I wont be able to get Canadian stations.)

That site isn't functioning any longer.

The Sci-Fi channel has been showing Who as well, but they're nowhere near the new season.

Interesting. I can't get a single one of the Doctor Who links on the site to function - or for most of the other shows.

I understand that it's nothing but a collection of links to other people's uploads, but most of the site doesn't actually seem to work, at least for me.

Could country of origin make a difference?

Doctor Who is a great show, and yeah, Sci-Fi shows it.
Signatures are silly.

I imagine being in The Mote in God's Eye, you wouldn't get a very good connection, no.

Actually Tv links has been buggy in the past week or so, but alot of links( especially in the anime section) got taken down and reposted the next few days, so I'd like to assume they are getting rid of the dead links and putting up new ones systematically, cause the Naruto section was empty was empty the other day, and then when it came back the DBZ section was almost empty(it still misses alot of eps right now i believe).

The new season will start on on the SciFi Channel on 7/6.

Dr. Who

Also, many local PBS stations just recently were given the option to purchase the rights to show season 1.

sometimes for me, when i use tvlinks, safari just quits for no reason... but thats only when they link to stage6.com... but it works if i go directly to that site and search for whatever show i'm looking for... and it has really good quality... and i'm pretty sure that all the episodes of dr. who are on it.. but you might have to download the player thingy...

I'm not a big fan of downloading TV shows onto my computer for legal and space reasons, but my inner-geek thanks all who helped me in my search of alternative sources. I'll look for Dr. Who on the Sci-fi channel, so thanks Flea and all the others who helped!!! :D

TV-Links is how I keep up with Dr Who since I don't have cable.

Also, they're currently airing season one(new series) Friday nights at 10 on my local PBS station

Aha! tv-links doesn't seem to be compatible with my version of Firefox! IE (shudder) works just fine.

I watched the "Rise of the Cybermen" episode.
