So, on the last hand four people didn't vote kapol: Conoros (voted me, then korvys) Hepheastus (voted me, then korvys, then no-one), Tapir (didn't vote) and Ix (R.I.P.)

I strongly suspect Hepheastus, so much so that I'll

Vote: Hepheastus

Really? I'm failing to see what I did that's suspicious. I voted for Romangoro, I thought it was suspicious how willingly he followed Memo. I changed that vote when he claimed a card. Also did I vote for Korvys? (Hint: I didn't) I remember going from Romangoro to no-one and encouraging people to stop card calling as it was making the power roles easier targets, something Ix can testify to. As for why I went to no-vote not Kapol, well I was giving him the chance to speak and quite honestly by the time I had logged in again he had already been discarded.
To summarize, No, I'm not an ace. No, I'm not going to say what card I am. If you are going to accuse me, that's fine, but get the facts right

I do find it suspicious that you mention not voting for korvys. You didn't change your vote after romangoro revealed, which everyone had to do including mafia or else it would be too obvious, until after koryvs also revealed and no one contested. Unless there was something posted in between there it would seem silly for anyone to consider voting for korvys. Bringing this up in defense is suspicious.

You also didn't suggest not revealing power roles, you suggested either revealing everything or no longer revealing at all.

Hepheastus wrote:My point is either we all reveal our roles or nobody else can.

Either scenario is not good for the town since currently our best strategy is to pressure someone with votes into revealing and waiting for contention to confirm but not have everyone lay their cards out and causing mass confusion.

Also IX can't testify to anything; he's dead. Also he didn't contribute anything but one post to the last round so I'm not sure what collaboration he could have provided.

These are by no means definitive but examples of suspicious things. If we're barking up the wrong tree and no other evidence of a better target comes up then you'll probably want to reveal yourself since that will get you out of trouble.

Though unquoted in his post, I would read it as a direct response to what Romangoro said about his voting habits

The question now becomes - what about revealing? There is still one town role left in play - if we're about to discard the doctor perhaps it would force him to reveal (And subsequently probably death the following night)

Discard: Hepeastus

As of right now, I don't see there being another target, but I would be interested to see what Hepeastus has to say before the discard is finalised

Romangoro said I voted for Korvys. That's why I mentioned it

aeric90 wrote: You also didn't suggest not revealing power roles, you suggested either revealing everything or no longer revealing at all.

Did I? hang on... OK, fair play. I did say that. In my defense it was a while ago, I forgot the details

aeric90 wrote: Either scenario is not good for the town since currently our best strategy is to pressure someone with votes into revealing and waiting for contention to confirm but not have everyone lay their cards out and causing mass confusion.

It seams to me that this current strategy will just make it easy for the Aces to hit people. What if you pressured the Doc into revealing himself, do you think he would last the night. That's not great for the town either

aeric90 wrote: Also IX can't testify to anything; he's dead. Also he didn't contribute anything but one post to the last round so I'm not sure what collaboration he could have provided.

That was a throwaway comment. I meant that he probably wouldn't have been targeted had so many of us revealed who we were, it makes important roles easier to hit. His death was the testifying

Heph mate, you probably should have claimed a card (unless you're not town, in which case totally understandable).

I'm still suspicious of Duckay and Preacher, I must say.

Well, I suppose it was too much to hope for the Aces not to discard someone. Although, Aeric's name is in red on page one, the same colour as the Ace's. I'm hoping this is a mistake, else there might be more going on here that we need to worry about, or I'm losing my mind. All valid possibilities

EDIT: Also, it appears my internet access will be minimal to none, over the next few days. My apologies for this

Two down, two to go. I'm out of suspicions right now, but there are less options, which might be good?

((I will also be offline all of the weekend, could we pause the game from this evening (east coast-ish ) to monday?))

((I just realized that both Preacher and Our Lord and GM are in Australia-time, so it's weekend for them already, right?))

There is one yet with an ace up his sleeve. By process of elimination, one or both of duckay and Preacher is trying to trump us. I think it's Preacher.

I admit, I have been sort of waiting to see if anyone else has a theory to put forward since I've got virtually nothing to go on, here. I can't help but respect the argument that there's only a few people left who could be the ace if no one is coming forward to argue with anyone's role claim...

I suppose that means FOS: Preacher
