Re: Cards on the Table Mafia: Fourth Hand
Either way, we're approaching time. Make a decision in, say, eight hours, gang.
Re: Cards on the Table Mafia: Fourth Hand
I'd like to see what Duckay has to say before I change my vote.

Do I have time to say my piece, or is that a lethal vote?

I believe thats 4, and 5 would be required - the 8 hour time line is up soon, so you had best make your case soon!

Re: Cards on the Table Mafia: Fifth Hand
Welp.....
Ok, according to my notes (said the apparently self-appointed detective) there's two people who haven't claimed any card: Tapir12 and Conoros.
Tapir has been silent most of the game, and didn't vote on most hands. Conoros didn't vote for Kapol on the second hand, didn't vote on the third and retired his vote to avoid killing without defense on the last one.
So, FOSS: Conoros
(The extra "S" is for "Strong")

Re: Cards on the Table Mafia: Fifth Hand
Screw it. We've got 6 left, and 2 suspects. We discard one, and we win, or if it's the wrong one, we lose someone overnight, and we're down to 3 vs 1, and we win then, right?
The only other way this goes down is that the Ace claims a card that's already claimed, and then they'll have to be pretty good at explaining why they didn't contest that earlier, but either way we end up discarding one of the duplicates, and it goes as above.
So, why wait? Discard: Conoros

Re: Cards on the Table Mafia: Fifth Hand
Well, it looks like I was wrong. I had Preacher pegged at the Ace, Duckay as the doctor and Coronos as the joker. I'm the 7 of diamonds for anyone interested.

Re: Cards on the Table Mafia: Fifth Hand
And it was such a nice day... I slept in and had a lovely gourmet sausage for breakfast.
As we're one vote short still, I will make my case
I am the Seven of Diamonds, and I dont want to die.
As Romangoro mentioned voting, to FOSS me, I'll point that I voted against Heph (who was an Ace) and voted against Duckay originally, but downgraded it to an FOS in the spirit of fair play so he would have time to post something before being rushed out the door.
Tapir on the other hand did not vote against either of the Aces, and basically got our Doctor killed by forcing him to reveal his card after he started a vote against him.
What Korvys said about winning seems to be correct, assuming that all of the claimed cards are indeed true, but winning because you sussed them out should be more satisfying than the "kill them all and let god sort them out" way?

Re: Cards on the Table Mafia: Fifth Hand
Well, Tapir did say that she'd had a weird week and so been busy, and she claimed the 7 first, so I'm sticking with my vote.
My sincerest apologies if I'm wrong Conoros, but on the other hand, even if you're voted out an you're the seven, you still win because we'll vote for tapir next round.
Say what you like about the "kill them all and let god sort them out" way, its still works.
If I'm wrong, may tapir strike me down.
