Liked it. Seemed like a decent Whole Story.

Re: NEW VIDEO - The Whole Story: Football
Weirdly enough, you left out one of the best stories from the actual formation of the game of football (or at least my personal favourite). When the English Football Association (or FA, which incidentally is where the name 'soccer' comes from) in the late 1860s, they attempted to codify the laws of football for the first time, based on the laws currently being played at Eton School at the time (in the grand British tradition of letting the public schools run the show). However, there was considerable argument over hacking- the majority thought that hacking at the shins should be outlawed in the new rules, but one group of clubs, most notably Blackheath, were adamant that hacking should be allowed in order to preserve the whole stiff upper lip aspect of the game. In the end, Blackheath's case was thrown out and they walked out of negotiations to go help found the Rugby Football Union (I knew there was a reason I loved rugby ), but in doing so they fired off one of the greatest parting shots of all time:
"[Without hacking,] you will do away with all the pluck and courage of the game, and will invite over a bunch of Frenchmen who will beat you with a week's practice"
A rather prescient comment, I think

A rather prescient comment, I think
"Let us think the unthinkable, let us do the undoable, let us prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not it after all."

Re: NEW VIDEO - The Whole Story: Football
I was half expecting some kind of background joke where Paul, distracted by his history lecturing, just continues walking all the way out of the park, across the road, and maybe winding up at the beach or somewhere equally silly.
Cool video though, I learned so much! And I'm still in awe of seemingly the entire cast's ability to pull out super long monologues without messing up.

Re: The Whole Story: Football
One of these days, I'm expecting a Whole Story that is actually completely true.
Today is not that day.
Also, I'm not sure if it's the lens you guys used or I've just never noticed this before, but you can REALLY see how strong Paul's glasses prescription is. ._.

Thank you for calling tech support, how can I be the outlet of your misplaced frustrations today?

Re: The Whole Story: Football
How hard was it to find people playing football to have Paul stand in front of to do the shots? Did you ever have anything interesting happen in any of the scenes behind the shots? I'm assuming those are real games and not green screen, I didn't watch it carefully enough to be sure and the quality of your splicing is getting increasingly good, almost as if you're professionals now!
I also found Paul, as usual, to be hilarious in his "terrible professor" role. He's not quite as stiff as my British History prof at Cheltenham, but he's hilariously close. All he needs to do is accuse Americans of being "from the splinter colony across the pond" and he's set.
