Yeah, when I have a planeswalker out, I always highlight the attacking creatures to see if they're going at me or the walker.

Dreadbore, Hero's Downfall and Sorin's ultimate also target planeswalkers.

And again, a multitude of cards and effects that hit "non-land permanent" and "non-creature permanent" hit planeswalkers just fine.

Blew someone's mind last night when I redirected the two damage from my Mogis to their Jace, TMS (who I'd already gotten down to 2 with goblin bombardment)

I had a good laugh at Notch's card. I can't think of any way to use it efficiently, but I still want to play it.

Seems situational. I think it would be useful towards end-game, if you're mana-flooding and just want to drill through your deck to find your bomb.

Good if you have some way to put lands onto the battlefield without playing them (also, Memo, your signature is like a full page image right now)

The Raptr link was showing some sort of overloaded bandwidth image earlier, but it seems to have fixed now. Probably an issue on their end.

I'm running a chaos draft on Saturday. My FLGS just bought a box of Innistrad to support it.

*nervous*

I've run drafts there before, but he's laid money out to make sure my thing is successful.

It's official, we're getting ANOTHER Ajani in Standard.

I'm just so happy... This one seems really good, is built for superfriends, and seems generally fun.

Only costs 3W as well. I'm so excited, that -2 ability is just fantastic.

Is he the first card that adds loyalty to planeswalkers (other than their own abilities of course)? And being only a single White seems pretty strong. His +1 seems super powerful as well... use that on Brimaz turn 4 and you're doing well.

The first one that explicitly says so, I believe, since you can proliferate loyalty counters.

Nissa, Worldwaker.

Untap up to 4 target lands as a +1.

That makes her potentially a functional 1 mana walker, allowing you to drop something else after her to protect her.

If the board is clear and you want to get some beats in, she turns a land into a 4/4.

She seems good. I'd say on par with Koth of the Hammer, potentially better, but she is 5 mana.

Why yes, I would like to drop 24 4/4's onto the battlefield.

Also, ramping into her on turn 3 feels so beyond broken. Untap 4 lands (okay, forests)

Still, We have shocklands, and you can UNTAP 4 FREAKING LANDS.

I'm sorry, I may need to lay down, because I think I just read a walker that allows me to untap four lands. As a +1.

I can do so many broken crazy shenanigans with that, it's not even funny; and it's a +1!

So happy to see a non-Garruk green walker. Finally doing something other than popping out 3/3s. Indeed, I'll be UNTAPPING. FOUR. FREAKING. LANDS.

So, my first idea on how to break Nissa,

I present, turn 4 Ulamog:

4x Arbor Elf
4x Tarmogoyf
2x Scavenging Ooze
2x Kitchen Finks
4x Primeval Titan
3x Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre

3x Nissa, Worldwaker
4x Garruk Wildspeaker

4x Utopia Sprawl
4x Abrupt Decay
1x Dismember

4x Verdant Catacombs
4x Misty Rainforest
4x Overgrown Tomb
1x Swamp
10x Forest
1x Stomping Ground
1x Kessig Wolf Run

Note, it requires basically a god hand to actually get a turn 4 Ulamog. Still, You'll basically always have a turn 3-4 Prime Time. Basically a thrown together idea. Tons of room for revising. Probably want some way to dig, maybe Summoning Trap. Maybe Cavern of Souls is worth running.

I don't know, but I'm certainly going to try to refine the idea.

Thanks to Mythic Spoiler arranging the cards this way, I finally get why they chose these particular planes. Was wondering for a bit why we have Soul of Theros when we were there just recently.

So, we're getting a 6th Planeswalker in Garruk, right? It seems likely, but so far, no word. Just the Prerelease "event" with the ability to play AS Garruk. One of my friends suggested a Sliver Planeswalker, and I only just now woke up from my 4-hour coma from the possibility.

Nah, I'm almost certain it's a B/G Garruk. He's the face of the set, and I doubt they'd only have him as the prerelease thing.

When you look at it like that, one begins to wonder if Karn might appear in the set. I do hope we get a Garruk though.

I'd kind of be surprised if it was Karn. Doesn't he hate the plane that the colorless soul is from?

Personally, I'd kind of rather have seen a five-color soul or something than a colorless soul. Colorless is just so... boring to me.

Someone mentioned that it could be a 5-color Sliver Planeswalker, like Sliver Queen or something, but I don't think they'd do 7 Planeswalkers in the Core Set. They'll already have 5, 6 if they do go with a B/G Garruk.

I think MaRo has said there's going to be 6. My bet is on Garruk, but it could be something else.
