Hell, I think there's a very good streaming option of Alex just providing commentary to random sport/gaming clips provided by the chat/crewmembers... now that version of Late Night Dub Fight would be AMAZING

Oh man... What about taking an existing stream by another team member, cutting the audio, and having Alex dub it for the entire time? :D

Better than that, since Cam is usually so silent during his streams, just have Alex in another room making disparaging comments the entire time.

Hah! That would be good... Just have the microphone voice like they did during the Conspiracy game.

How realistic would a Crafting stream be?

The stream is called Loading Ready Live; it doesn't specify gaming.

Well, the Twitch TOS states that content has to have a gaming focus. So the best way to do that would be, for example, to have Tally needle felting in the background while Jer plays a game.

Though... How does that work with "Checkpoint+" then? They're not playing any game. They're only talking about games. So, could we have a crafting stream where Tally talks about games while crafting?

What if Tally crafts a gaming related item?

I think either of those alternatives would still pass the "must have a gaming focus" criterion - CP+ passes because the primary activity is commentary about GAMING news, so if Tally were to guest host an episode when G&K kinda need to take some time off for totally RANDOM reasons, she could be talking with Paul about what happened in the world of gaming that week, I dunno, maybe knitting something as Paul helps her with the yarn.

Heck, maybe pre-work the item beforehand so that by the time the 'show' and the aftershow discussion is over, she holds up what she's been knitting and it's like a Triforce banner, or something similarly iconic for gaming. ;)

...again, just a thought.

I like the sound of "Pinpoint". Checkpoint with people crafting in the process.
Sounds almost like a cHLRR stunt to stream anything by forcing in gaming.
I say almost because this is a good idea.

OMG, you know what we need? a mod for Bastion/Transistor that replaces the narration with Alex just... Alexing. Just being Alex, chicken and all.

You guys are so good and professional with your set-up... Since I don't really watch other streams on Twitch, I didn't realize how spoiled I was with your high-quality stuff until I looked here for the other end of the spectrum.

Wow, some people have tried to make an art project with their Stream Splash instead of a user friendly splash.

Others just seem like they want to stream them instead of the game.

I don't get why people make things overcomplicated. For a start it's less work to include less things.

It gives me hope that I can produce Youtube videos of really boring things, and they still won't be awful.

In response to doing other stuff on Twitch than gaming. A channel is required to have the majority of it's content to be gaming related. A few hours of crafting and CP+ every week should not be a concern.
On a related note, the majority of a channel's content must also be live broadcasting, instead of reruns and the like(e.g. Just streaming a video of a past stream or a video that LRR has done.)

That was so painful to look at. Thank you for spoiling us, LRR!

Some of those I can see just being the product of wanting to be "hip" and "cool" while not really understanding what they're doing (AKA GeoCities all over again), but others are such pure "WTF" they're actively malicious towards their viewers.

A few of those layouts make sense though, playing a 4:3 game, probably in windowed mode due to low resolution. Then add in speedrunner splits and a cam, and there you have some of the "bad layouts" in that twitter account.

On the other hand, there are layouts like this.

Is Watch And Play just canceled? I just checked the calendar, and there isn't one happening for the foreseeable future.
