You sure that's the same game? The other screenshot looked a lot brighter and more cartoon like.

I'm racking my brains a bit here to remember what star trek games there have been... Bridge Commander? I may have made that one up.

The "earth cruiser" design is more of a rip off in the star control series.

For that matter the Ur-Quan dreadnaught is a BSG rip off, the Syreen Perpetrator is a rip off of space wars.

Good artist copy great artist steal.


It is the Fan made creator blessed sequel. Toys for Bob owns certain Star Control assets, and Accolade now StarDock own other assets. Toys for Bob gave their full blessing and access to all of their assets to the fans as well as the source code for the 3D0 port which they somehow had the rights to.

Yeah, I know :D I got a ton more great ones.
Most of them feature the aerial though, and I wanted to keep SOME semblance of mystery in there :P
