Re: Harry Potter Mafia: Day Three
Y'know, Jam here is awfully lynch-happy, if you ask me. Almost as if he were a mass-murdering psychopath.
It's all over but the crying. And the taxes.

Re: Harry Potter Mafia: Day Three
It's the only way this is going to be resolved. It's hardly lynching to turn people over to the ministry for questioning. They're probably safer in there than out here anyhow.
I know I can trust myself. I'm not going to let the dark wizards push us around and steer this ship to its doom.

They're using the imperius curse.
So this imperius curse is some kind of recruitment mechanic then? Or is there something else to it I should know about? (I don't know anything about Harry Potter, sorry)

Yeah, it's complete mind control.

Well... if that's true, that's just thrown off all of my theories about what was going on.

Re: Harry Potter Mafia: Day Three
I had a paranoid hunch yesterday, but had rather hoped that the doc had guessed right. The problem now is, who do we throw under the bus, and rather more worryingly, if we are right and they are attempting to control rather than kill, now that it is out in the open, will they start killing
Do you guys mind. I'm trying to write an essay

I dunno, we should ask them.

Re: Harry Potter Mafia: Day Three
I most certainly won't. Because I'm not one of these lunatics. The Ministry says we need to figure out who to put forward, and I'm trying to make sure that happens. No ulterior motives, no secret agendas. I just want to survive this, and if possible, keep everyone else from ending up dead too. And being proactive is the best way to go about that.

Makes sense, really, for a bunch of dark wizards to jump to arrest a guy making all the conclusions. I see how it is.

Ok, while I'm fully on board with not losing another day to inaction, aside from being the first to vote today, why exactly are we arresting Prospero?

Most likely because they don't want the truth to get out.

Korvys, on nothing greater than a hunch, I admit. But I know the Commodore suspects him.

I'm thoroughly confused. Do we seriously have nothing else to go on than second hand cat trusting?

Unless you have anything to add Aeric. As for the Cat, I was being flippant, I was just suspicious of Korvys

Wait, what? Of course I trust the cat. Frankly, they're the only one I do trust, as one can't hold a wand without opposable thumbs.
I'm not doubting The Commodore's suspicions, but I'm not sure that's enough reason to condemn someone.

'condemn' is a strong term Korvys, It's only a chat they have with you. Plus if you are under the imperius curse its for your own safety that you be watched. No hard feelings, I hope you understand

Only a chat, Hepheastus? Have you ever met a dementor? I mean, I haven't, but I can't say I'd like to have a "chat" with one, from what I've heard.

For a bunch of Hogwarts educated wizards we are not really getting anywhere.
