It's in the Avatars thread, somewhere. I'm lazy. It's also on college humour.

Classics are meant to be messed with. That's why they're classics.

I'm also reminded of the Kids in the Hall sketch with the Worst Straight Man Ever. "Oh, I see what your problem is! Look, you're confused by their names, because they all sound like questions."

To adapt something, that i read on a "Munchkin" card:

This is the oldest [joke] in the book. But it works! That is why it is in the book.
"The past was erased, the erasure was forgotten, the lie became truth."

This is really, really awesome. You expanded upon while still kept your distance from the original.

I forgot to turn off my voice-to-text software as this was playing. Much fun was had by all.

I'd count it as a spin-off.

New twist on an old classic.

The concept was the same, all the actual "jokes" were different.

Oddly, i don't find the original funny at all. Your version, however, is hillarious.

Not an excuse, it's been translated into well over a dozen different languages, and is one of the best-known comedic dialogues in the world.

Never seen the origonal, however the main idea I was somewhat familiar with. I did enjoy this one, and I think it was absolutely brilliant.

That one is not my favorite. Therefore, it is obsolete.

Many moons ago, when I was very, very young, I heard the original Abbot & Costello Who's on First and just didn't get it ... because I was in the same mindset as Costello.

It wasn't until a few years later when I was older that I finally got it, which made it just that much funnier to me.

I must say, LRR's post is very well done IMHO. It certainly "clears things up" even with the visual, and that is what makes yours so brilliant. LOL.

BRAVO! \o/

EDIT - this is my favorite version of it:
