I sometimes think that empath and I are the same person and that somehow we were separated in some strange Gwyneth Paltrow sliding doors thing.

Mechanized Assault and Exploration 2, M.A.X. 2 for short.
...at least, I'm very sure I played it, and that's a game I played

What if Alan Turing came up with the test because he was actually a robot and wanted people to find out?

loved that game. i'd deliberately get the derms killed so i could watch the death animations. mentor (the brain jar) had a cool one where the brain would deflate and blood would spurt inside the jar

I figured out pretty quickly that equipment for mineral extraction are a complete waste of space - on maps where you had to mine, if you destroyed all enemy units you got all the minerals on the map anyway!

Re: Name that Game!
Ah, Geoff - but you only get a PERCENTAGE of minerals that are 'auto-mined' after the mission. Usually it was fine, but sometimes a little bit more cash could make all the difference...

It's one of the Blackwell games I think, no idea which one though. Legacy is the only one I've seen anything from so I'll guess that one.

Its Convergence, since pretty much an identical screen shot is posted on the Wadjet Eye Games website, albeit with some dialogue from Joey over it, but you can tell from Rosa's outfit and the perspective on her apartment, since both change from game to game.
