Any ideas in mind for cruel and unusual punishments for the perp? Maybe using a pick axe sets 'em on fire? Or they can only move as fast as they could underwater? Perhaps just stick 'em in a chamber of bedrock over at spawn... maybe with a hole in the top so decent players can lob poisons at 'em.

Or IP ban, whichever.

On a totally unrelated not, I finished the "secret project".

I found a black horse with a saddle in the ocean. If you've lost a black horse, then he should now be at Xaphod's Mountain Complex

EDIT: Sorry, he's at Havok's Mansion.

Just for letting people know, the Cobble Works in Spawn has been replaced with a Stone Works. Now, you can mine smoothstone instead, if you have silk touch. (Or just regular cobble, like before, if you don't.)

Not much of a change, but I thought I'd give the option.

Also, new render incoming. It says 11 hours to render, but I don't quite believe that.

mc.lrrcraft.com is the server address.

You could go to http://www.lrrcraft.com/ if you ever need help.

My home is located at 800, 800. You may nuke it at 1.8. I would like to build something with villagers but there are none within the boundaries. I will wait for the release to play as I know server bloat can be an issue.

So... Just letting you know if you guys have a flagrant disregard for the rules, we might as well not have a server at all.

Should we abandon all this work we've done and start from scratch with a server reset?

Apparently a 1.8 pre-release might be out this week. Looks like 1.8 might be out soon.

We could try just making a single window for him instead of the double fence. I am assuming it was an accident.

Yeah, I'll look into a redesign, but it requires an "inside" and an "outside" at least.

Sorry for being away from the server for a while, but I'm getting back in & building / developing the area around my place a bit more.

First order of business: To my neighbor to the west (the keeper of the SkyTower). Hope you don't mind me traveling through your place to get into the rail system as Memo noted there's a closer station.

I'll note that I constructed a cobblestone path from your place to mine for easier travel (providing a safe route). I kept the disturbance around your place to a minimum, especially around the drawbridge (as I didn't want to break the redstone engineering).

Second order of business: I'd like to revamp the Charcoal generator in Spawn City with a more compact design. The design I found can be checked out at http://youtu.be/iYMp5Hymlr8 for your perusal. It's only 2x3x5 (the video notes 2x3x4, but I add a second chest on the top for simplicity purposes) & works really well. It's something I'm planning to add in my place as well.

The only DOWNSIDE I've found is that it has a running overhead of 2 stacks of charcoal (1 in the furnace, 1 in the hopper) before it starts storing the charcoal in the chest. HOWEVER, I find this a minor deal as you'll never have to throw in any starter fuel one that overhead is reached (as the fuel isn't used UNTIL you toss in some wood) & seems par for the course with this type of generator.

The minimalist design is also great for stashing the mechanism underground as all you need to see are the 2 chests (one for the wood input, one for the charcoal output) & can be easily labeled so anybody can use it.

Since I want to make this change in Spawn City, I'd though I should run it through here first PRIOR to making any changes as I don't want to incur the wrath of the server staff.

I replaced the machine at Spawn City with your design idea. To be honest, I'd seen that idea before, but the fact that it needs to store 6 stacks of charcoal + 2 (one stack in the furnace, five stacks in the hopper, then 2 pieces in 2 of the droppers) before it starts collecting in the chest was a detriment to the design when I first saw it long ago. However, I've changed my mind about it.

Can't stash this one underground, though, since all the redstone for the Stone Works is under there.

I've put in requests for a nether portal and a rail stop on the issue form, but I keep misspelling my own handle! So if I've put SerGreyshot, I mean SerGreyhot. Rather embarrassing.

Out of curiosity. Memo, what are your thoughts on surface roads between builds? (Assuming all involved build owners are okay with it, of course.)

Well, if the builds are neighbors, I know it's fine. If you have to cross potential build sites for other players though, you'll want to get it okay'd first.

Of note: I DID remove a walking path that went from one build to another. Key point, though: it was over 300 blocks long, zig-zagging around 2 other builds.

If it is just a path to your neighbor, it's fine, as long as you're aware that it could be razed for new development if it's long enough. (If it's just right next door, then there's probably no room between for new development, so it should be fine anyway.) TStodden: I hope you're cool with that if your road gets demolished for development between you and the other guy.
