I see 4 votes for Preacher. Anyone else willing to make the hard choice?

Because I don't want to lose another day and because I don't like to be mentioned just because, and mostly because I trust JackSlack, I'm gonna go for it.
Vote: Preacher
And I hope this is not one of my usual early morning mistakes.

Re: Firefly Mafia: Day Three
As the crew turn on Preacher he quickly makes a run for it but before he even gets three paces JackSlack shoots out his left eye and he spends all day looking up an nothing with the other.
A search of Preachers room shows he was a loyal Browncoat. You also find a lot of medical suplies and field manuals about first aid. It seems Preacher was also a MEDIC

The Independence never heard from the Obsidian again. The freighter docked with the Alliance cruiser 'Magelan' and the vital information was returned to the Alliance. The Independence would suffer a run of crushing defeats before finally surrendering.
GAME OVER- ALLIANCE (MAFIA) VICTORY
I'll post the details of the game soon, but it's 1:22 am and I'm very tired

... I admit, this feels a letdown. :/ This is the second game in a row we've not even had an inkling of the mafia. Either players here are getting too good, or we need more investigators in the mix.

Re: Firefly Mafia: Game Over; ALLIANCE VICTORY
As someone who was part of the mafia, I really enjoyed this game. I'll wait for Heph's writeup before going into the details, but I can definitely see your point. There was not a lot going on for the "town". I also think, since we had people in both the crew and the browncoats, and that let us know that both groups could communicate during the day, we definitely had at least a bit of an advantage over a standard game.
Also: sorry, Tapir.

Going by the first post, I assume I was the one killed last night.

Until Heph wakes up, to satisfy people's curiosity, the mafia were me, Jamfalcon, and rommangoro. There's probably more going on, but that at least you'll be able to look back at us lying our pants off.

There probably wasn't much else going on, what with the healer and investigator gone. XD

I think we were pretty lucky this time.

I admit I felt pretty lost in this game. That said I feel like we could have done better on day 2 specifically if we'd taken advantage of the communication system better.

Re: Firefly Mafia: Game Over; ALLIANCE VICTORY
The browncoats could communicate privately by day. On day one I pointed out that as long as more than half of us were loyal, we could force the vote each day until we were the only ones left, then work out who if anyone was disloyal among us. AdmiralMemo's suspicion of me made that an easy task for day one, but then we didn't take advantage of that at all day two. I'd like to credit the disloyal parties in the browncoats for that, but I for one was just a bit lazy about it.

Re: Firefly Mafia: Game Over; ALLIANCE VICTORY
I think lack of communication between the Browncoats was one of our advantages. I don't know how long I could have conceled my agenda if the group had pushed on the suspicions of the first day.

Re: Firefly Mafia: Game Over; ALLIANCE VICTORY
Can I just say I felt genuinely bad about lying to Tapir12 on the last day.
It basically went:
*we kill Duckay*
Us: Jamfalcon is the tracker (lying), and saw Preacher kill Duckay, but scared to point the finger. Can you do it?
Tapir12: Sure
*Accuses, some votes happen*
Tapir12: You know... this would be a really good plan for the mafia....
*me trying to get last vote before Tapir figures it out*

Re: Firefly Mafia: Game Over; ALLIANCE VICTORY
Yeah, so the crew had the same day-time talking ability as the browncoats, and with Memo gone we were two mafia and one town. So our plan was for me to say that I was the tracker, but didn't want to put myself at risk. Then Korvys would try to come out against him, and hopefully Tapir would vote along with us. Then once romangoro did, we'd only need one more.
It was one of those things where I was both having trouble not laughing manically at my schemes, and also feeling a bit bad about manipulating Tapir.
We'd also originally planned that it would be Tapir taken out this last night, since she'd know I had lied, but because she put the vote forward we decided to go with Phail and (thinking there would be another day) try to throw her under the lynch bus.

Re: Firefly Mafia: Game Over; ALLIANCE VICTORY
But we couldn't have planned Peacher's response to her accusation. "I didn't visit Duckay, I visited romangoro" made her accusations half credible. As mafia, we got two bits of good luck, killing the investigator on the first shot, and everyone skipping leg day day two's lynch. But just for the fun value, that answer was great luck too.

Sorry for the delay people, I've been both lazy and busy
Crew
Captain- Korvys- Alliance Infiltrator- Sleeper Handler
1st Mate- AdmiralMemo- Loyal Crew Member- Alliance Sleeper Agent
Pilot- Jamfalcon- Alliance Infiltrator
Mechanic- Tapir 12- Loyal Crew Member
Security
Browncoat- Romangoro- Alliance Infiltrator
Browncoat- SilPho- Loyal Crew Member- Reader
Browncoat- Duckay- Loyal Crew Member
Browncoat- Preacher- Loyal Crew Member- Medic
Browncoat- JackSlack- Loyal Crew Member
Browncoat- Mums- Loyal Crew Member
VIP's
Alliance defector- Phailhammer- Loyal Crew Member
So this game was all about exploring group mentality. Both the crew and the browncoats could communicate to each other during the day so I wanted to see if people would trust the groups they were in. The only unusual roles were the investigator, who had no control over who they investigated, it was entirely random and Memo being the sleeper.
The sleeper was told they were a normal crew member and would remain as such untill the handler said a specific phrase in a post. The phrase was 'at least the ducks are still flying'. At which point the sleeper agent is activated and can be instructed to kill one person per night but with a 70% chance of success. If the handler is killed then the sleeper becomes neutral and gains control of their killing ability which then succeeds automatically.
I don't mind saying I put a lot of thought into the sleeper agent role which is why it was very annoying that Memo died first. Oh well best laid plans of mice and men.
Day 1: AdmiralMemo Lynch
Night 1: Preacher protects Preacher

Day 2: AdmiralMemo is activated; failed, AdmiralMemo dead
