That was cool. Some of the more expensive waters are from BC Canada (yay bc)
When I lived in Japan I found there was a lot of bottled water from BC. I used to drink it because it was fun to have a little bit of home lol
but it was only a dollar a bottle, not $30!!

I still don't understand why anyone would pay over the odds for what is essentially tap water...

The only time I buy it is if I need a bottle for future use. Last one I bought was a few days ago, for me to fill up from the water cooler at work (aircon is fucked, so everyone's got bottles of water, instead of coffees).

most people think bottled water = spring water. isn't true.

plus after a little while (few weeks) chemicals from the plastic seep in to the water. :( yuck. i'll drink my water from home thank you. :)

c
buy a metal waterbottle instead. a) its better for the environment, and b) its better for you - plastic bottles that you buy, as well as nalgenes, leak really nasty chemicals - and using them more than once breeds mad bacteria.

the good ones are metal or this sort of terra cotta clay stuff.

couldn't hydrogen and oxygen be fused to create the absolute purest water possible?

glass is the best but it's pretty fragile And expensive. :D plastic is OK is you don't LEAVE things in there for a while (2+ weeks). IE fill empty bottles up the day before you use them & keep in fridge. I have a 1/2gallon milk jug I fill up 1/2 was with water & put in the freezer a few days before I intend to use it. then, when I use it, fill it up the rest of the way. Water's pretty cold then. :)

I think this bottled water nonsense is the stupidest thing ever. Penn and Tellers episode about it made me rofl. But after seeing that I might make a water bar. Not because I believe in it, but for the money.

i personally don't like most bottled water... it tastes funny to me.. I can't really drink city water either, for me well water is the best....

I really can't get over the fact that they are getting people to pay for something that is still free.... (well for me it is, cause we have a well and don't have to pay for city water...)

Well water usually comes with the added side effect of smelling like sulfur. thats the way it has been in my experience.

The camp I'm working at just opened this year and they've installed a state of the art water purification system, worth almost a million dollars - and it doesn't work.

We drink a lot of bottled water.

There was a coca cola made bottled water, that added chemicals to make it purer. That is pretty much an oxymoron.

BUT WAIT!

The combinations of chemicals and airing caused the water to become......

I have one of those officey-type water coolers in my house so I only really drink bottled water during tennis or cycling. In those cases I drink bottles of Poland Spring, from right here in New England (The former 2nd Half of Massachusetts.) which we have cases and cases of in my basement.
