I was just thinking we might want one of these. I hear Desert Bus is kind of a thing in this community.

I'm certainly not banging my head against my desk because my work wifi can't handle livestreams, no sir.

I don't think I've ever laughed quite so hard as I did in response to Matt's sexy walk. Except perhaps for his question.

I have a couple ideas for challenges, but I don't have any cash. And I know it's busking, but I hate to be like "GIB JOY" then be like "MONES MINE"

But if you send a challenge and that causes someone else to donate, surely you've still done good?

If you are unable to donate, get the word out! Tell your friends, family, coworkers and random people you meet on the street.

I believe he is currently doing a play at the moment, and therefore doesn't have time to visit this year. Which is kinda sad. : (

Although I don't know if he'll call in (Or already has and I've missed it).

Did Morgan end up appearing at all this year? I know he wasn't driving. I haven't been watching consistently enough to be sure.

I really appreciate it when people add more prizes to DB, but I'm always iffy on the 'we'll add 2 more of the same thing!' during an auction. That happened during the Penn+Teller auction. It's nice that they want to let more be donated. But it kind of puts people who thought they were out or might not have really wanted it on the spot. Especially when it's 7k plus. It also slowed everything down enough that it ended up leaving nothing really going on for a good time.

It's a lot of money for the children. It always just kind of annoys me.

I know what you mean. I did feel bad for the guy who was at $6,500 when the offer was made. The auction as a whole was amazing and awesome and raised a ridiculous amount of money, but yeah, that part could have been done better. But it's not like that was planned, it was just Penn being generous. I'm sure the crew is all very aware of the issues with that format.

I know, and I know it was a spur of the moment thing. In the end, my minor annoyance isn't outweighed by my appreciation of raising a ton of money for the children. Though I do kind of wish they had just done three separate auctions with the second two having a floor of 7k in order to make sure everyone was still interested (like Omega Lairon in case they had changed their mind).

I canned even at this point. Over DB7 with the busiest time of the run (besides maybe the beginning) coming...
