Too much going on underground for that to happen.

lol

So, what's the deal with the server these days? I haven't reinstalled MC since my HD died, and haven't installed my new one yet, hopefully this weekend as it requires re-install of Windows on the new drive.

Digitally. The server itself is virtual anyway.

It's being trimmed of unused chunks so it can regenerate with new 1.8 landscape and ores, so people don't need to go thousands of blocks for new stuff. I really should've done this during the 1.7 transition, but I was lazy.

I'm not entirely against a new map altogether. I do like Templemir, but I'm willing to try a new project if it comes to it. Got a few ideas, largely based around wanting to build viaducts and cavern fortresses. Kinda like this...

We have a new public minecraft server up now. It's hosted on lrrmc.rebellious.uno, The server is vanilla and is running Spigot for just some basic server-side plugins.

You'll need to ask a mod for build permissions, the current mods are LambMower and RebelliousUno. Also James but don't bother him about giving you permissions.

If James remembers he will be plugging the server on the Thursday, maybe even drop by and show it off a bit.
At this point the spawn area is not completed and we don't have dynmap yet, these things will both be things hopefully finished during next week.

Oh dear, that's an issue. I'm going to add some US mods so we have full time-zone coverage, hopefully that doesn't happen again in the future

Edit: Lord_Hosk and OmegaLairon has been added as mods to LRRMC

In the meantime, here's my "interim" minecraft project in it's partially finished state. (I started in survival, really optimistically... Now in creative)

Behold, Saunders Hall of Science, Engineering and Derpcraft. Something I started WAY back on the first LRRcraft map (See page 23 of this thread for the designs) I might construct a small version of the accelerator tunnel but... WHAT IN THE WORLD was I thinking when I started this.

Awww man! It was awesome, do I have the power to make someone unauthorized so that they can get stuck and need to be dug out?

I set up unomc.lrrcraft.com as an alternate address for this new server.

*is wondering if all his work has been in vain, and whether he should just trash the whole LRRcraft server, even though he's finally making some serious progress* :(
