I for one would love to see the old server back up again. There were a lot of fantastic builds on there, and I had some pretty cool stuff myself. No reason why there can't be two servers.

Well, right now it's not so much a matter of wanting as a matter of what's possible, at least for me. I'd love to play on your server again, but since it's down and has been for seven months, that's not really an option.

I would say easy thing would just to release the map for download, that way people can still revisit all the old builds and such

I agree with magistermystax that its probably availability thats a motivation for people to play on this new server. Personally though, I'd like to get back on your server, Memo. I have a lot of time invested and would like to finish my builds

I may join the new server, but I'll save my biggest builds for Memo's server. Just built a brand spankin' new computer, so I have the itch to play again, now that it doesn't lag every time I place a block.

Yeah, I've been waiting for the current server to be ready to play Minecraft, since it's the only server I frequent.

I too can't wait for the original server to be compleated. I'll go on the new one so that I can hang out with people that I haven't really played with online in a while.

Yeah, I appreciate the offer of the alternative of this cool, new server, but I'm taking the opportunity of Minecraft not sucking up all my free time to chop through some of my backlog.

I understand the depression, Memo. As someone suffering with it myself, I get how giant projects become even bigger when you have to actively fight against yourself to get it done. Take all the time you need. Your mental health is worth more than my passtime.

Edit: Okay, I've got to ask, but is there a reason visitors cannot open gates? I have gotten stuck three times today, two of which wouldn't be a problem if I was able to open the gate. You might as well give me build permissions seeing how clumsy I am without them.

You should be able to open gates, pretty sure we set permission specifically so visitors can do that. Anyways what's your in-game name so I can give you perms?
