k...

I think its fixed now... maybe

steric hindrance

Between rounds you will need to crack 6 packs 3 Fate reforged and 3 Kahns of Tarkir, this will act as your Base pool. You can do this by entering a sealed event, or by just cracking the packs.

Either Screenshot the pool for the sealed event, or the "added to your collection" window that appears when you crack a pack.

We have yet to determine how we will be adding packs and what two packs we are going to add before the next season but you will also have to add those packs.

You will now have a pool of 8 packs, add all of those cards to a new deck, and move everything to the sideboard. It is recommended that you also add enough Basic lands so that you can sideboard mid match as you cant just "add land" like you could in a typical sealed event.

Lord_Hosk, prior warning to aid your match making
I'm going to be unavailable 27th, 28th and 29th of March (National Student Roleplaying and Wargaming Championships)
And Unavailable from the 2nd of April to the 20th of April

I'm going to try to get my weeks match in with Sacred_Rhino this week prior to the Nationals, and I could probably get a match in the week after if whoever I'm matched with can do early in the week. After that it's probably not worth scheduling me in till the 20th.

Cheers

Windstorm can also get rid of Silumgar at uncommon as it doesn't target it.

Some good games although that molting snakeskin ruined me game three.

Gelgarin 2 : 1 Wooglie

Game one ended with Mob Rule for all your creatures because of course it did. After that I sided into ridiculous agro out of guilt. (the other non-fun, non-interactive deck I can build out of my pool)

Got crushed game two after I made the executive decision that a hyper aggressive deck could keep a hand with six lands and Typhoid Rats.

Game three went turn one Mardu Shadowspear, turn two MOLTING SNAKESKIN and proceeded to win very quickly. From this we can deduce that Molting Snakeskin it the best card in the format, and that if you aren't running it you must be stupid.

Hi Hosk. Both Duckay and I were quite busy this week and prereleased on the weekend, so between that and the time difference we weren't able to work it out. A draw will have to do; Thanks.

As for the new week, Sarah, I'm determined not to miss another round, so I hope we can figure a time that's good for us both! I work screwy hours but tend to get home around 5pm LRR time, so if you have time around then, we might be able to get them done before the weekend crunch. :)

Sorry about last week, it ended up being a very busy week and I just didn't have time at home to play -- much less at a time that suited someone on the other side of the world.

This week, though:

I just wanted to apologise briefly if I came across as little salty at the end of the second game there - the timing on both the lack of mana and then drawing Reach of Shadows the *exact* turn it stopped being able to save me... it just felt like MtGO was playing a particularly cruel joke at my expense.

Good games though - and good luck with the last few weeks of the season.

Thanks for the games there blackwlf! I almost thought you had me game 2 after the End Hosties but my deck was able to pull out the stabilization with Big Lox. I'm lucky I had the barricade in my opener to shut down your Bloodsoaked Champion too or he would have been taking huge lumps out of my life. Best of luck in next rounds for you :D

Also Hosk, I am ALL for us screenshotting the packs and posting those pictures to here. Whether or not people want to cheat and open multiple packs is on them. I know I'll be posting my pack opens and rejiggering the deck on a stream so you KNOW there won't be a problem from me :)

That End had me hopeful. Even with the Lox I'd might've managed, if not for the blasted growing flyers. Good games, and at least I got destroyed by someone I respect. Though it did have my roommates wandering in a couple of times to find out why I was cursing so much. ;)

Thanks for the games, Memo! The land fight was the best part of the match. And thanks for your patience. I'm still new to MTGO (and Magic in general), and you were a gracious opponent.

Yeah, those were good, evenly-matched games. I'm just sad I punted in Game 2.

By my reckoning Archieo (Shalok) is also 5-0.
