ROAD TRIP: Comic-Con Panel

Postby Graham » 02 Aug 2007, 08:59

It's really cool that the CCI Film Fest organizes itself to allow filmmakers to do this.

A little less than 400,000 actually.

He didn't call Morgan Bill, he was talking to Bill because it was Bill who asked if they had ever been on CNN.

Yep that was Bills voice asking that question which is why Morgan threaten the person asking in the first place.

Those people in the panel audience asked petty good questions, no nonsense questions like in ask LRR, which is probably what I would've asked if I went.
:) look a smiley face, it makes you want to smile doesn't it?

Audience Guy: So, have an any of you ever choked on an orange? Like unpeeled?

    Graham: ... Bwuh?
Also, Paul spoke this time! Woot!
Also, the film school question, as well as Graham's flippant sarcasm in response, had me rolling on the floor.
Also, no prior video adverts! Hey!
Also also, MST3K! Rawk!

Additionally, do you have more Con Footage? As awesome as the Roadtrip coverage has been thus far, we would absolutely love more.

Graham wrote:I gave a more in depth answer to this question once before, but I can't be bothered to dig it up.

I use Apple's Final Cut Pro on a G5 iMac, with 1GB of RAM and a 400GB HD.
It makes video go.

I used to use a significantly less powerful laptop, but that started to suck hard. So when we won the Rock the Vote contest, it was time to upgrade.

Anything else?

Apple's final cut prolooks awsome. Looks well worth the money. Too bad I don't have a mac :( - http://www.apple.com/finalcutstudio/finalcutpro/

Very nice. It's always cool to see how you guys actually talk to people, that you're genuinely funny people even off the screen.

I laughed quite a few times, it was very entertaining.

Are you going to be attending the Penny Arcade Expo? I'm assuming some of you will go, but will you go as "LRR", or as "Morgan, Graham, Bill, Matt, Jer, James, Paul, etc.?"

Ya'll are amazing, not only are your videos great, but you really are very genuine and funny in "real" life. Thanks for the reminder of the of the first video of your's I ever saw, which was on "talk like a pirate day" last year. My favorite video, however, is the LLR Labs Guide to Innocuous Household Gods.

Love you all, yea Canada!!

So not only did you get to go to comic-con, you also get both a certificate, and a plug from the mst3k/rifftax guys. Would be a worthwhile trip for any geek.

Nice work, fellas, but you need to slouch less. Keep those backs straight! Upright posture gets the ladies.
I require a dance of intellect. Put on your thinking shoes!

Actually, no. Excellent posture is especially important for women who want to attract men's attention - at least, the visually-stimulated and superficial men.

Which is of course the vast majority of 'em.

My sentiments exactly. It looked like there was a decent sized audience and from the sound of their applause, you were well received, too.

Congratulations! You made us proud!
