Postby Graham » 18 Jun 2015, 13:43

After this week's CheckPoint, we sat down and talked—for real—about our E3 thoughts and reactions.

On VR:
One of the tricks they found to reducing or preventing VR sickness is adding a virtual nose

Also everything about the Occulus Rift and the special VR treadmill makes me think of this from Alpha Centauri

I would like to see more of this sort of long form discussions about video games.

Posted this in the other (wrong) thread, but the Nintendo puppets were indeed from the Jim Henson Studios. Tweeted from NoA.

E: apparently I can't delete the wrong post, or this one. Oops

I think there's room for changes with Final Fantasy 7. I wouldn't mind taking FFX or FFXII's more dynamic battle system style with the Materia system. Dialogue definitely needs rescripting.

Ultimately I'm expecting the final part of the game to see the most changes, as it was what suffered due to the N64 to PS1 shift and running out of budget. They have the chance to iron it out.
I'm not insane. I just have an overly vivid imagination!

I'm actually looking forward to SMT #FE after watching the actual game-play videos. Probably more than P5 if just because I don't have to buy a box that'll go in the closest after playing it.
