Well, at least I finally know where my deck's weaknesses are. Game 1 was really good, but Game 2 was a blow-out real quick.

I think I'm in the wrong format. Origins is reasonably quick, and my deck wants to be somewhere like Rise where games start at 7 mana.

I think I'd like to do one last week, seeing as BFZ prerelease on MTGO is next week.

I'm sorry, I thought AdmiralMemo had volunteered or I would have said something sooner. Being so close to the BFZ prerelease it would be great if we can get it together to finish it off but if you can't then maybe we should wait for the launch of Zendikar?

Re: Loading Ready Sealed League
Oh, no, I'm sorry! I misunderstood everything that was being conveyed (as usual). I thought Hosk was stepping out of playing games, not the whole thing. I was volunteering to take Hosk's place as a player, not as an organizer, and I didn't realize he was stepping out of both positions.

Re: Loading Ready Sealed League
OK, given that some interested has been shown in doing a final round to send off origins, I'll figure out pairing and try and have them posted by the end of the LRR Fan Draft Saturday ~11:30pm my time.
As to a BFZ season I would be willing to give running it a shot (obviously giving Hosk the right to step in and takeover when ever he wishes - this was his baby after all), but if were are going to do this I will need to know preferences (if someone wants to make a srawpoll and post it here I would be grateful), the quick options I came up with (obviously any other ideas are welcome this is for us the fans after all) are:
- Start new with 6 BFZ packs/release sealed.
- Add 2-3 packs of BFZ to Origins pools.
- Start with a pre-release sealed pool (gives you 1 extra rare up front)-this option also gives the least amount of time to prep.
- Work it more like how my LGS does Leagues --> Start with X packs of BFZ (I would say maybe 4) w/ 30 card decks. Then every 2-3 week we add a pack (maxing out at 6 packs and 40 card decks for same total investment) for a more varied play experience.

Re: Loading Ready Sealed League
We discussed this earlier in the thread. The plan is to have Origins be its own thing and start the new paradigm with the new block structure. We'll do as before, where we start with a sealed, and then when Oath comes out, add 2 packs of that to the pool. I think most people decided on a Release pool rather than a Pre-release pool, as it would be more fair to anyone coming in late.
Then, when the new block comes out, do that over again with the new block: 6 of the main and 2 of the expansion. (Though maybe it should be 3 or 4, since going forward will be 2-set blocks? We did 6-2-2 for Khans-Fate-Dragons. A 90/30/30 card split is much different than a 90/30 split for cards, and maybe 90/45 might be the new way to go? This is a discussion that can happen all the way up until January, though.)

Re: Loading Ready Sealed League
That sounds like a plan...and will give ppl time to join. I think a 10-24-15 deadline of pool submittals is reasonable that gives ppl ~2 weeks of release queues to get there pools in, and would give us a start date of Sunday 10-25-15.
Re: Loading Ready Sealed League
Count me back in for BFZ sealed league. I've been looking forward to this for weeks now.

Ok I'm in for the last round and for bfz. We can discuss oath packs when it comes to it. Do we want a new thread when bfz starts for a clean start?

Re: Loading Ready Sealed League
We didn't start a new thread for Origins, but maybe switching gears and block sizes means new thread? I don't care personally.

I've got some stuff going on at the moment, so I won't be able to play this round. So I concede to Abanytar.
Hopefully, I'll be in for the next one, but we'll see...

I'm in for BFZ Sealed. Really didn't enjoy Origins Sealed, but I'll gladly play BFZ.
