Qwerpline Ep03- Break the Banks
Qwerpline Ep03- Break the Banks
Big news for nsburg this week! We've got news, arts, and traffic. Derek's checks out a new river, the Qwopter's grounded, and an inventor joins Graham and Alex in the studio.

Apparently my reaction to Raphael's demonstration was loud enough that my mom had to come in and ask if I was okay.
I was also about to make a pun on "internal combustion," but am choosing to restrain myself.

Pure gold. Love the evolving narrative of Nsberg.
I'm not insane. I just have an overly vivid imagination!

I definitely groaned at the "noble" pun in the beginning. I really enjoyed the book hutch segment.

I do note that leading with whatever got talked about in the previous episode's 'coming up' topic is officially A Thing. Which, if you're doing improv and you've had two weeks for a seed topic to ferment in your brain, that's a heck of a good head start coming in.
Which in this case means two weeks of 'okay, what can be in an nsburg time capsule?' (Which, fun fact, about 90% of buried time capsules never get recovered, mostly because people just plain forget about where they buried them or that they buried one at all. Corona, California buried SEVENTEEN of the darned things and has yet to recover any of them.)

I have to tell you guys straight up that this is the fucking funniest things you have ever made. I don't mean that in a bad way, I mean that this has shot so far above and beyond your normally astounding comedy, that I find it hard to breathe at times during these Qwerplines.

Hey, I got to find out! Well, not exactly. At least one not-very-talkative beaver.

These continue to be great!
I think my feedback is still the same though: it seems like it would be better if it were more edited, or less edited. The juxtaposition (woo, big word) of the smoothly delivered parts and the breaks for laughter is a bit jarring.

I've been writing up the individual episode wiki pages. I'm bad at writing synopsis though so I'd like it if someone else did that. http://wiki.loadingreadyrun.com/index.php?title=Qwerpline_Ep03_-_Break_the_Banks

This has been bugging me, and I believe this is the first time they're mentioned, so I'll ask it in reference to this episode - is the organization to which Derek once belonged the "Berk Scouts" (one of Nsburg's randomly named organizations) or the "Burg Scouts" (suggesting that they're a municipal organization unique to Nsburg)?
