The map is also up for some reason. It's actually pretty nostalgic to take a look at it.

mc.lrrcraft.com is also up and running. I tried to connect in Minecraft but it is white-list only

The Dynmap appears to have encountered an odd glitch. Take a look at layer-cake tower. See all that water running down its higher parts? Yeah, that's not supposed to be there, so when I noticed it I immediately went to check, thinking someone had griefed me. To my surprise, there was no water up there at all, nor any traces of it having happened, like extinguished torches and stuff. So I can only conclude the Dynmap is having a strange glitch and placing water where there's none.

Dynmap takes pictures of the world according to changes in world data. Chances are, someone was checking out your place, accidentally broke something and then fixed it, but Dynmap caught the act and hasn't updated yet because there's been no activity in that chunk.

So... Just place and remove a dirt and that'll fix it?

I think we want to end raid with James, we'd need to "book him in" to make sure he's aware and ready.

Yeah, we wanted to do it with James. We wanted to do it with James on LRRcraft as well, but that proved problematic.

I've got a new modded MC server up and ready for people to come in. We're playing Infinity Evolved in normal (not expert) mode.

The server is running Infinity Evolved 2.2.2, and you'll need to enable ChickenChunks in the FTB launcher before you can connect. The URL is ftb.lrrcraft.com. Currently the ops are myself, RebelliousUno, and AdmiralMemo, and one of us will need to add you to the Runners group before you can begin building.

I'm looking for people to help build out the spawn area to make it more friendly for new users; contact me or one of the other ops if you have ideas and want to help out with that.

Finally, while I expect to be able to take care of the server financially for some time, any donations would be appreciated and can be made directly through CreeperHost at http://playments.creeperhost.net/uBM.

Hope to see you there!

EDIT: Also, just as an FYI, the server automatically restarts every day at 0700 UTC to clean up any memory leaks and such.

Maybe come up with a Thursday time, then see if he's available/able to stream it.

Hi, I've been trying to log into the new server, but apparently I'm having newb issues. I've finally got the FTB launcher to work, but it can't seem to find the server. What simple mistake am I making?

The server's been having trouble with running out of memory over the past couple days for whatever reason. I've tweaked the server settings to hopefully fix that; we'll see how it goes this week.

Granted that it wasn't supposed to be online for a long while and I haven't had time to work on it... working as intended now? :-D

I've still got 14 months before the server goes completely south. I'll have something figured out by then. I don't know if I'll have a house in 14 months, so that's a little more pressing at the moment.

DarkMorford: Could you please install the following mod on ftb server:
AE2 Frequency Display

It makes life with P2P tunnels much easier as it shows their id / gives them a name:
Image

Its quite small and it is optional on the client side - if you want the tooltips to show you have to add the mod to your client. If you do not add the client (you just use the normal mod pack for example) you won't notice any difference.

I've built a workshop at spawn on the FTB server. Right now it has a cobble works (free stone, cobble, sand, and glass), power (120 RF/t), and a basic SAG mill and alloy smelter. I'd like to get a TCon setup built in the right side of the lower floor, and we could probably use some more machines on the left side. Feel free to pitch in.

There's also a nether gate outside, because I got tired of walking back and forth over the ride to my base for supplies.

Downloaded the FTB launcher this morning but my version of Infinity Evolved is stuck at 2.3.2

I downloaded the 2.2.2 version but can't figure out how to change it in the launcher.

EDIT: Found the button. Now I feel like a derp. When possible, I'll need build permissions please, ingame name is DeimirTM

How does land allocation work on the new server? I don't need a lot of space, just need to know I'm not intruding on anyone else.

Does anyone know what is wrong with the vanilla server?
