https://youtu.be/UH_AqdCXNbQ I just finished my Spyro Let's Play, and I'd love for some votes on what game I should play next. I've got 4 good choices, so come by and check me out.
My Youtube Channel. Currently, I have a daily series where I play games that I like. Right now, it's Double Dragon Advance. I also have a weekly series where I play as the Archenemy from Duels 2012

Me and my friends made a short film for university. We tried to make it subtle horror. It's in Danish, but I have added English subtitles. https://youtu.be/i8PDWi7kzSM

There are a few mistakes and flaws we are aware of. For example on some monitors certain shots are too dark to properly see what's going on. So I guess I'm more looking for constructive criticism than looking to promote our film. If someone has anything to say about the plot or the cinematography, I would love to hear it.

Only saw this now. Sorry about that!

Now that I'm on antidepressants, I'm pretty hopeful about starting the updates again at some point, by the way :)

I made the choice not to draw their mouths when they aren't speaking, except in some cases to show them smile. I've seen it done in some other comics and I liked the way it looked better than always drawing their mouths. They still have mouths, of course, but they're just not drawn (like some styles don't draw noses for instance).

I'm glad you liked what you read of the comic, and I hope that when I start updating again you'll keep reading :)

Bit of a techy one here, but I have been submitting app ideas for Microsofts Hololens Augmented Reality device;

Not exactly exciting ideas, but I think they are sort of practical.

Wasn't sure where to put this, so brought back this thread.

Its a little computer-animated advert I made for my website;
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvUpabxmoNE

Not the best CG, hand is particularly a bit iffy, but its all my own assets.

Thanks a bunch :)

I think I could have come up with a better name at the end. Just had writers block so I wrote "Smith".
I am now thinking I should have wrote "Sincerely, Larry Page"

Or possible "Mr Trellis".

Trisha Lynn wrote:This is a great place for this post. This was featured on Desert Bus 9, was it not?

Yeah, I only found out later. :(
Annoyingly I think I was in the DB chat, but away from my computer so I missed it live. :D
Anyway, the relevant DB vid is this one;
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=En2dvzq ... _WCyely0Mk
(They did a really good job surviving)

I must admit we were mega embarrassed about the whole "racist" thing at the end. I really hope people got the joke and didn't think the writing actually was racist. Because they had to skip over the text a bit, people could have imagined some bad stuff that wasn't actually in the text. :oops:

(We just thought it funny to imply the fake writer was. Its actually random ending, and the writer at the end often throws hissy-fits over stuff people are criticizing their work).

Uhh, well, after a lot of hard work I finally got to animate a tv show
Here's one of our episodes
https://youtu.be/LeORfwj3D2U
Got to work with a lot of cool people, some from the rachet and clank film (which is a neat watch).
It's honestly something I'm really proud of! I never thought in a million years I'd be, well, working in the studio I love with the people who made my favourite childhood shows.

Wow, that's really neat. :) I was never into Bob the Builder specifically as a kid, but I can just imagine what it'd be like to work on show that I'd been a big fan of growing up.

a) Awesome! What exactly did you work on?

b) Thats the ReBoot people right? At least Mainframe became Rainmaker and those are doing Rachet and Crank I understand. ReBoot is easily one of my all time favorite shows - forget childhood qualifier :lol:
I hear they are doing a...err...reboot of it any decade now.

a) I do animation mostly for Bob, but I got to see some of rachet and clank and get in on some of those meetings

b) Yup yup, I know a new show is in the pipe. And a few folks working on it. I mean they're just down the hall

What sort of stuff you streaming?

a) I do animation mostly for Bob,

I'll assume thats just the Mending Bob, rather then the Mending and Defending Bob. ;)

Oh, well, contrary to your sig, I will ask something then; Do you know if the new one is all CGI or a mix of CG and live action? Because the press release seemed to infer it was staring (human) children. So I wondered what direction they were going with that. Or, you know, don't tell me, as I imagine you have NDAs and such.

Why did I never realise to post this here: For the last half year, CantWearHats (GIF-lord, Chat-mod and streamer) and myself are doing a Farscape Rewatch Podcast. You can find the recordings over on http://www.cantwearhats.co.uk

We recently finished the first season and season 2 starts this coming Wednesday. Go give it a listen. It's really fun (both to listen to and to record :P)

My boyfriends and I streamed Xcom 2, we made 2 videos (took a break after a few hours for sustenance), here is the first one for anyone interested. It's long but we had a whole lot of fun and I definitely recommend the game! If watching is half as fun as playing it was, you'll have a blast.

Out Mascot, ButterSlime, has a twitter! https://twitter.com/theButterSlime

Also stay tuned, I and a few members of LRR chat, EmberBecky, zerr0, and Caleb_QDC are gonna do a d&d podcast of some sort, we are still working on the pilot, but we've been having a great time.

I've recently released my game - Circuit Scramble - on Android! It's a 2D puzzle game centered around circuit based logic(AND, OR, XOR logic gates).

If a few people feel like playing it, I'd really appreciate it! I'd love to hear what you guys think.

Hey Occam! I just completed level 100 of classic mode, then played some of endless mode. I love it! It's simple yet challenging.

I do have one small nitpick, though - after the last few levels of classic mode, the stuff endless mode is throwing at me seems really easy. Is that a limitation of the current code, or does it automatically ramp after you've played the mode for some time?

Hey Atifexe! Thanks for playing! I'm glad you're enjoying it so much. The response from people who have played it has been phenomenal so far, though getting the word out is the little tricky.

But I definitely see your point, the difficulty of Endless Mode has been a definite problem for me. Based on the random nature of level generation, it's hard to guarantee difficult levels - especially not as difficult as the one's I was able to specifically design. I've tweaked the generation a couple times based on feedback, but in the end, it not perfect system.

Though I DO like the idea of ramping up the difficulty as you play a bit more...that intrigues me. I may be able to tweak it to prioritize harder levels the longer you play Endless Mode. Thanks for the feedback!

Not really self-promotion in this case, but...

My dad is selling a ton of stuff on eBay, most of it being essentially at "Pay for Shipping" levels of $0.49 or $0.99 plus shipping. (A few, he's got selling for $0.01 plus shipping.)

It's mostly VHS and DVD movies (of almost every genre), but he's got some other stuff in there, such as:

If any of this piques your interest, give it a go. The way he handles stuff, essentially as soon as he gets the money, it's off to shipping that same day, or the next at the latest.

Down-side: No International Shipping, so it must be US. :-(
If you are outside the US, find something that interests you, and it doesn't sell within the timeframe of this auction period, I might be able to persuade him to give your offer a shot, dealing with him directly.
