What do?
Also, is there a way I can redirect a LRRcraft subdomain to this server?

I feel that Pam's etc just adds more fluff than we need. Once I got my berry bushes up and running my food situation was basically over, and I could concentrate on other more interesting thing.

Personally I like Pam's Harvestcraft, I say this as someone who almost exclusively eats raw carrots and apples, but I like having the option of all these extra cool little foods, which if nothing else add a decent aesthetic to the world.
Re: LRR Minecraft Server
Just a heads up, I have acquired the LRRMC map. MasterCheese asked me to upload it somewhere else, so I'll try to get that done as soon as possible.

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
Cool. Once I get LRRcraft finished, we can merge them. Since I took it down, I've literally only worked about 2 weeks on it out of all this time.

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
This should be the worldfile for LRRMC, if everything is working. Note that this doesn't include the nether, sadly. If you can't open it, try using 7zip.

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
Unfortunately the only LRRmc server won't work properly because the new server is 1.9 and the old one had a few mods in it that don't work in REALMS. If someone wants to restart it using a modded server though, that would probably work.

I want to, but I want to do it right... And I need the funds. Once I finish the map stuff, I'll properly start funds collection.

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
I'm happy to investigate purchasing a month or two of server hosting for LRRMC to get it online again (at least in the short term) if people want? If my own server machine wasn't lying in pieces I'd offer to host it myself, but I imagine a properly hosted server would be a better option anyway. If yes, some decisions/information would be useful on:
- Minecraft 1.8 or 1.9
- Keep the old map or start a-fresh
- What plugins/mods were installed on the old server (and important settings these might have had to help with quick and proper setup)
- Any recommended server hosts
- Average/peak player counts (fair few if James ever comes on...)
- Location of server (I'm guessing North American/Canadian, but I don't know where would be best for the majority of players)
Looking forward to LRRMC-ing with you all again soon.
Thanks.

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
On the LRR FTB server, I don't know who set up the Draconic Storage power source, but it's down to 25%. Not sure if that's a problem or not?

If the power goes low try hoping into the wither's end dimension (reachable via travel nexus), It might not yet have been loaded.

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
So I finally got the itch to start playing modded Minecraft again, and I suppose a LRR server would be a good place to start. My IGN is Fried_Popsicle. Hope this will be fun !

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
The current FTB crash might be due to me being in the Twilight Forest. If so, someone will need to force me out of there otherwise I'll simply crash it again when I get on.

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
Is it just me are or is anyone else experiencing some lag with the FTB server? Like the connection's throttled server-side for some reason.
EDIT: Three days later and it's become a problem again. Looks like a persistent memory leak...

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
Something I've noticed about the FTB server. If nobody has been there for some time and I log in, the server immediately starts the backup process like it was waiting for something. Is that normal?

I feel like there are only a few of us occasionally logging on... are we on the final days of the server already?

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
If you're referring to the FTB server, it doesn't load very well for me due to RAM issues, so I'm not logging on very frequently. If I'm going to be waiting 15 minutes for modded Minecraft to load, I feel like I should be getting some sort of extended use out of it, and I haven't even decided what I'd plan to do on the server, anyway.

I've been on regularly, thought at different hours than previously. I hope it's not the final days (I'm right in the middle of a megaproject), but I hardly ever see anyone besides squaredotcube... It's often like playing singleplayer.
I've been thinking about taking a look at that BBS thing someone started at spawn and (perhaps) finishing it. Maybe that'll help in gauging if/when people are coming on (assuming anyone is, assuming anyone who did come on would leave notes on it...).

You may find this useful: "[Guide] How to run Infinity Evolved with 1.0GB RAM allocation"
I haven't tested it myself (if nothing else, my RAM is adequate), but that--or a procedure like that--seems likely to help in constrained-memory situations.

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
So, the modded server failed to save the world again around ~2PM PDT; it's probably connected to the not so great performance it's been having since mid/late-ish yesterday. Based on something else I noticed, I figure it probably didn't get restarted night before last or something. Just a heads-up.
Also, since fewer people are coming on the server these days and I hate to post just to report problems, I'll just drop some screenshots of what I'm working on in there lately.
EDIT: Just for information: went down after this posting (same day); still down. It was complaining about the ol' Java IO exception doodad, so I've got to assume it's disk space again? Well, I figured I ought to at least edit my post noting it after nobody else posted about it (3 days later).

It's had the occasional fail to save except over the past few days. And sometimes it manages to save so... ?

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
The FTB server seems to be down... for over a week now?
Re: LRR Minecraft Server
Hey, is the modded server still running? If so I would love to get whitelisted. I have been running solo on my skyfactory server since all my friends have gotten bored of MC. Username: Eldrin13

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
As I also said on the other thread, I would love to get on a MC server again, if the FTB server is still running I may want to check it out.

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
Is there a download of the final version of the map up anywhere?
Or is there any chance of the server itself being online again?
(Sorry if this has been posted before, I've tried searching through the thread but can't find anything)
