Re: Crossing the Streams
Or Punchafaceia. But I agree. Especially with the popularity of Sidewalk Slam, I think doing another wrestling event seems like it'd be a good idea. I would say wait until the next version, but that's quite a ways away.

Re: Crossing the Streams
So, on the subject of the last CtS, I will say it was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed Drawful and Quiplash. I wasn't as big of a fan of Fibbage. One of the reasons I really enjoyed Quiplash and, from how it seemed, Drawful was the fact I mattered. The fact we were able to affect the outcome made them more enjoyable for me. Fibbage was... fine. But without the engagement, it fell a little flat for me. The jokes were still largely funny. But it never really clicked for me. It always felt like the focus was on winning rather than the jokes.
As for Worms, I like Worms. But it didn't really feel as interesting, since it seemed like nobody but Ian really wanted to play it. Though that might just have been me misinterpreting things. I would actually be totally up for a Worms CtS. Though it seems like it would work better as part of a larger stream like the games during Tabletop Day did.

the steamers trailer is a bit hammering in the purpose of this game (twitch fodder), but it does look like a seriously great game to pour the LRR crew chaos over
Re: Crossing the Streams
In case anyone didn't hear, Keep Talking got a update the other day adding in a larger soundtrack and mod support for new modules.

There *may* be a new level created by the developer that involves you driving a bus that can't slow down else it explodes.
It also apparently has integrated Twitch Chat in the defuser's view as a option.

Re: Crossing the Streams
I would like to bring up a game I only recently learned about, Eon Altar, it's a sorta diablo-esk game (Hack n Slash RPG), but your controller is once smartfon, or tablet, and each player is supposs to be their own character's voice actor.
It's a little hard to describe but I think the LRR crew could have a lot of fun with the game during an Crossing the Stream... ehm, stream.

Really loved the Lovers stream this week. Would love to see another round of that game with perhaps a third or fourth person

Re: Crossing the Streams
The numbers. Have been crunched. Here are the numbers:
Stats will be posted to the wiki at some date soon. You will get the update. Trust me.
Notes:
From Bad News Transcript Graham's Bad News Character was called 'Diabolos'.
As always, my raw timings are provided along with distilled stats.
I've only listed here the processed data from the multi-person games.
All the times are taken from the Twitch VOD. When the youtube version is live all these times will be wrong.
Last year's stats are for the same event. They are only for the rumble and say which order in the rumble they got ranked (e.g. Rank 30 is eliminated first, rank 1 is won the event. Eddie Barbell is rank 1).
I also made Hurk an honorary member of the Perfect System [tPS] given he is of that same ilk.
The Perfect System vs Jangles and Jones - Tornado Tag Elimination Match
The other games
Ashleigh Won the [ΣΘΔ] Grudge Match in 4:31. This was the fastest match of the day.
Bartleby ended Gibb in 6:09.
Malach of the Bad News Bosses eliminated the Beardtones' Paul in 5:45
Agatha Fisting punched the Banana out in 05:43.
The 2017 2016 LoadingReadyRun Ultimate Face Punch Wrestling Autumnal Rumble
Many new faces in the ring this year, with only 12 returning rumble competitors, plus 64k who were in a match last year but did not rumble. If they are included, that gives 50% returning rumble characters!
This year had less competitors with 3 or 4 eliminations, but more that got 1 or 2.
Last year's average survival time was 6:51.7, while this year had 6:38.1.
Interesting to note, from 01:43:43 to 01:46:02 all 3 members of 64k (G*, JP and Ice Tray) are eliminated in turn.
Noteable Achievements:
Jonny Got 4 Eliminations this year, matching the best of Muscle Santa last year and winning Most Eliminations this year. He also got most time at 14:09.
Honorable mentions go to Torg and Eddie Barbell for 3 eliminations each, as well as Torg for 13:52 in the ring.
Lifetime Achievements
Given his 3 eliminations last year, Torg is winning total eliminations with 7! Coincidently, Torg also has the most time in ring with 24:53! No other competitor can match either of these scores!
That said, Muscle Santa and Eddie Barbell both have 6 lifetime eliminations, and Jonny has second-best time with a total of 21:25.
Well done to Crowthorne, this years winner!

An XCOM 2 Co-Op mod was just released. Might be fun if Cam can find a second.

Re: Crossing the Streams
Hi! So, real quick, I've been a member of this forum forever, rarely hang out. Don't have a twitter. Don't use social media much, and despite being a subscriber and patreon, rarely interact directly with the LRR folks or awesome fans.
But Holy Moly - I just watched the latest Autumnal Rumble Stream and it was amazing. Had me in stitches for the entire length. I rushed over here to jam, and to read stuff from other excited people (wasn't disappointed) and to just start spewing out enthusiasm. TL;DR - I liked it a lot and I'm over excited.
1) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do regular shows. I know they are a ton of work. I get it. I will pay. I will pay so much. Money is no object. After very much enjoying Sidewalk Slam, I tried to watch real wrestling, but RAW just couldn't hold my attention. Add in enough LRR and apparently I'm onboard with a weekly, or more realistically a bi-weekly, wrestling show. I want to watch Ashleigh dominate a completely stacked women's division. I want to cheer on feel-good fan favourite Core Unit finally get that classic heel "Eddie Barbell". I want to cheer on my favourites in the Felterweight Division!
2) I have a few humble suggestions for the next PPV - Obviously promo crapshots would be amazing. It's a big ask, but you guys seem pumped for the idea. Also, I saw someone suggest that one of the PPVs should be called "Shame Inferno" in the chat. Loved that idea, wanted to second it here. LRRMania is an obvious one. Also, I kinda like "Rapidfire".
3) Also, a few characters I think would be fun are "Lady Landline" and Candidate Alan Shepard, Also for the Felterweight division (which might come in a bit light) Rocky the Raccoon, Charging Badger and "Moosey". Granted those are more animals than puppets and the last one is a voice Cam does and has no physical appearance, but their weight should be about right. Just tossing those out there.
Ok so a lot more words than I meant to write in a forum post. But for real, I loved it. Bravo to everyone involved.

Re: Crossing the Streams
So, here's a question - Ultimate Chicken Horse has now added Twitch integration...so will we get to see another Ultimate Chicken Horse stream in the near future?

My support for this idea.

I'm just gonna put this here, since I saw a few people in chat share this sentiment. Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is a legit good kart racer.

Re: Crossing the Streams
Agreed - and honestly some of the time I just straight up prefer it to Mario Kart. I think S&ASRT does a better job balancing technical skill and luck (most prominent example, Sonic's version of the blue shell can be consistently avoided with decent skill, but even if you hit it, the delay is a lot more manageable). Plus the music is fantastic, really does well to compliment the action on the track. Lastly, we were a SEGA family back in the day, so I get a lot more nostalgia for them than the various Nintendo properties.
Downsides? Well, the "All-Stars" part can sometimes be a bit of a stretch - Sonic never really had as big/well-liked an extended family as Mario, so they had to get a little... creative (Danica Patrick... really?). And while *most* of the level gimmicks range from "decent if forgettable" to "minor inconvenience", there's a few really badly designed bits that can easily screw you over and make the whole race truly frustrating. I guess Mario Kart has more than a few examples of that too, but... I dunno, I guess you tend to overlook it when you've got so much more variety and choice.
Oh, and needs more Silver the (best) Hedgehog.

To be fair, they've actually already played it. I personally agree with the sentiment of 'worse than Mario Kart (depending on which MK), but still fun.'
Re: Crossing the Streams
Just throwing this out there if lrr needs a game for CTS, since they had to audible to Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime again.

Re: Crossing the Streams
I recently got to sit down and have my first 4 player session of crawl the other week and everyone had a wonderful time with more joking that I thought there would be; which made me think that it might be a good fit crossing the streams.
Crawl is an up to 4 local player 1v3 fast paced dungeon crawler with the 1 regularly switching with losing being arguably more fun than winning. The tone is set to something like campy creepy and it would be gory if the characters weren't 8 pixel wide so forewarned about that.

Re: Crossing the Streams
GTA V online seems like it would be great for CtS. Somehow it doesn't seem to have been mentioned here already (that I could find).
Edit: It looks like there was an update to add gun trafficking too recently.

Re: Crossing the Streams
Graham and Adam have discussed the possibility of GTAV on CTS before while on stream, but nothing has materialized as of yet. I'd like to see 4 of the crew go through all the heists together, personally.
Also, there was talk during one W&P of Home Improvization as a CTS stream and that never materialized. Maybe do that? And if it seems lacking in content, there's always filler with Duck Game and Ultimate Chicken Horse.

Pay Day might be a fun thing for them to CTS as well.

I just found out this exists. Might be fun for CtS?
