Do You Like Theatre and also live in Victoria? Go see Mute!

Postby Friv » 01 Sep 2007, 10:53

Well, I'm usually pretty (read: very) quiet on this forum, but this is something that I feel the need to plug.

If you're in Victoria this weekend, and you think you could use a bit of theatre, the Victoria Fringe Festival is just wrapping up.

Mute, a play written by Wren Handman, has two shows left:
Saturday at 10:00 PM, and Sunday at 5:45 PM. It will be playing at the St. Andrews School Gymnasium (Venue 3), at 1002 Pandora.

Mute won Best New Play of Fringe, 2007, and was nominated for Best Drama and Best Male Actor (for Thomas Stuart). It is an excellent play, and everyone who gets the chance should go see it!

And that is my plug! Mute is great! :D

You're thinking your old girlfriend, Right Handman.

No relation.

Edit: I mean, yes. The chick from UVic.

It might be. *grins* Her name used to begin with a Lau, but she lost those letters in the war.

Which? The Australian Invasion of Newfoundland? Or the Successionist Revolts of Qeubec?
