I enjoy these video's as it's more you guys just goofing around. It makes the jokes feel more... real. Or something. I'm not really sure why but I find it cool. It's a good counter weight to your video's.

What, so the videos are lame? (just kidding, we love you)

I think you're referring to the sensed difference between scripted and spontaneous humor. Thing is, a lot of the stuff in the videos is ad-libbed (ha! hyphen!), and a lot of the stuff in The Whatever Thing is scripted.

Yeah I'm not entirely sure what I'm getting at, it's more how it feels different to me. It just sorta shows a different style of being in front of the camera for the cast.

Don't worry, I agree with you!

And no bloopers at the end? It was more of "reading funny news" than "making the news funny."

Wha...? A new Whatever Thing? But I was getting used to Startle A Chicken being a fixture on the upper right corner of the LRR website.

Anyway, good stuff. Why can't China come up with more provocative product defects?
To LRR is human.

Wow, a bonus treat! I too was shocked that the familiar words were no longer present in the corner. "What's this???... something new??"

I enjoyed it. Made me smile :)

At least the people where the sausages were going (was it Dubai she said?) are creative!

Man, smuggling candy is such old news. My buddy and I had a monopoly on selling the stuff back in 7th grade. They tried to ban it. We got crates of Airheads (I think 36packs) for like 4 dollars then sold them individually for $.25 each or 3 for a dollar. Also got some other stuff, candy bars, fruit by the foot, etc.

That was fun.

Also: yay! Whatever Thing!

Yeah, they did that at my school too for several years (in fact, even before they banned junk foods, there was a guy who did that and made a couple thousand off of it every year). Now though, nobody cares enough about it to actually go through the effort. You can still get goldfish crackers and generi-chips from the vending machines, and some half-decent mounds of fudge from the cafe, plus nobody cares if you just bring in your own stuff, and you can always trade that around.

Mine's not a keychain, it's an old school transformer.
