Lets all Hate Toronto

What's so wrong with Tacoma?

-If tin whistles are made of tin, what are fog horns made of?
-Lewis has AIDS
-Meddle ye not with dragons, for ye are crunchy and good with ketchup

Quebec and Toronto are hated for different reasons. Toronto is hated for its perception of being the center of Canada, a bit like that New Yorker cover that shows the rest of the US as smaller and unimportant than New York. Quebec is hated for being French.

I don't think Toronto is better than the rest of Canada. I like Canada! I haven't seen much of it, but I want to!
I just get frustrated when people who have been in Toronto for like a day have nothing but bad things to say about it.
If you are a tourist, you aren't really seeing Toronto. You are going to end up in the smelly places! You're not going to see the awesome culture and fun things.
The disdain that the rest of the country has for Toronto just really makes me mad, because in a way it is jealousy. The rest of the country is pissed off that the government pays so much attention to Toronto and that Toronto is the only part of Canada that the rest of the world knows. WE CAN'T HELP IT STOP HATING US FOR IT

Now wait just a GOD DAMN MINUTE here.
As official Toronto correspondent for LRR, I feel I must mention that if I catch anyone hating on Toronto, I will fully go Etobicoke on their asses. And if you really cross the line, I'm going to have to represent Scarborough, and you don't want none of that.
Unh. Testify.

As was Paris, Lyon, Becanson, Dijon, New York, Washington DC, Memphis, St. Louis,...
I think you get my point, people. CITIES ARE DIRTY! Especially ones with a concentration of hippies... I mean "vegans"... such as shown to us in Man Cooking Three.
I should also mention that I have never been to Canada, and as an American of college age, that makes me teh uberhomo. In the words of Lewis Black, "Even drunk on a bet, you'd make it to Canada."

It really depends on what you are used to I guess. I know people who lived in the Northeast who really aren't too put off by Hoboken, or even the rest of the Dirty Jerz. Then again, I've known people who have hailed from the other side of the country who will never go anywhere near the place again.
If you grow up in a region, it doesn't seem as bad to you. Like the Ozarks, or like de swamps 'o de sout'.

Not sure. There would have to be some drinking at LRRCON. Videos could be screened, cast members would have to do an ASKLRR in front of a live audience. Mostly it would be a chance for LRR fans to meet one another and the crew in the flesh.
Perhaps it could coincide with another LoadingReadyLIVE! ?
