Alja-Markir wrote:So tak... You take issue with my use of a catapult... but the Nuclear Fucking Explosion is completely acceptable...

Further, it seems you didn't read any of my posts on the subject of my being launched into the ocean beyond the first one. The first one involved a trebuchet. Almost every post after that said "it can be any sort of siege device", or similar.

*winks*

Practically speaking, getting pictures of catapults off google images was easier than getting trebuchets. Lazy Me + Easy Thing + Photoshop = Profit!

That and it's just funnier.

~Alja-Markir~

Well, a human body on fire flying at that speed into the ocean which at that distance may well be calm and flat, it would replicate a Nuclear fuck bomb. Or at least feel like it when you hit. Personally, I suggest a belly flop, or an Assbuster, upon entry.

And yes i understand the whole "Any siege weapon will do" thing, but the trebuchet is just B.A. You wanna be a BAMF right?

But thank god you at least got the joke, friend.

QFT, Allen!. Not only did Matt's dad do a great job, he practically nailed Matt's "whiny bitching" tone.

It's probably been said many times (look, I'm not going through 6 pages just to make sure a post this brief hasn't been said before), but looking at your dads is freaking EERY. The resemblance is uncanny. They don't even look like they're your dads, they just look like you were all put in an accelerated aging machine.

That being said, great video.

Otherwise, you know, we'd get letters.

Letters?
Really?

Yup, letters.

You can't call the text-based jibberish people spout on forums in anger a form of "words" so it really is just letters.

Wow, what a shoot! I fell out of my chair on this one.

Happy 4 years, keep up the good work.

So when are you guys going to become rich and famous? You guys should sign with comedy central so you can afford 3500$ fart jokes... on second thought I like my low budget LRR...

It';s obvious that they had, probably at most, 2 PS3s which they then photographed enough to give them 23 different positions, then put them together.

The easy way to tell it that the ones in the second row have the same reflections as the ones in the front row... where in fact, they should have reflections OF the ones in the front row.

Just watched it for the second time :) Good stuff. Loved it. As has been said many times, your Dads did a great job.

Matt, Graham and Paul's Dads look the most like them for sure. Paul's Dad especially.

Lokking forward to the next 23 seasons!!

I'm just gonna say this, feel free to disagree, but as looks are inherited genetically I think their resemblance to their dads is not uncanny at all but perfectly reasonable and natural.

I look a lot like both of my brothers, one of which is five years older than me and the other is 10 and 1/2 years older than me. We also have similar voices, (I once spoke with my dad over the phone alternating sentences with my brother without him noticing!), and similar senses of humor to boot!

That being said some family resemblances are stronger than others, so surprising would be a better word, even astonishing, but I think uncanny is a bit too far, but then again, feel free to disagree.

Great. After 6+ pages of fans pointing out how much the LRR cast looks like their fathers we'll probably never see the guys again. ;)

"Merry Christmas!"

"Who are you?"

"Oh, I'm from the other side of North America. Allen told me I could come to dinner."

"Do we know you?"

"No, but I've seen you in some videos online. Where's the ham?"

Sketchy.

Now, I don't want this to come out the wrong way, but: OH MY GOD!

That's right, even spelled the old-fashioned way for emphasis. That was ingenious, switching over to your dads without so much as a transition really got me thinking dubja tee eff until I realised those guys were your dads - who btw should be nominated raddest dads ever and should become a mainstay in the LRR machinery - get their own special holiday which always ends and starts with watching the blooper reel of this episode while eating ham tacos!

Good times will be had by all!

You should totally ask the CBC. I'm sure they'd trip over backwards* for fresh Canadian talent.
