I don't think you guys realise what you've set yourself up for. When there's over several thousand dollars donated, and you guys have been playign for months, I'll be sitting there and cackling away in my dark corner listening to you guys beg for mercy from one of your podcasts....*Pets evil looking cat*
Also...I'm sorry Graham! On thorough analysis of CSI:CSI I realise it was you singing, not Jer. It's just....My brain went Flange = Jer. (Yes, I realise it's not exactly flange, but I can't remember the name of the filter you used.)
LOL at the 50 or so suggestions, two bucks (When I can get it) goes towards Desertbus if one of my suggestions fell into the "They're....Uh....Suggestions..." category.
P.S. It'll go there anyway, when I get the cash.
"Loading Ready Run, more successful than Amazon\Youtube" Brilliant. Personally, while he's not from a movie, my favourite portrayal of the Devil is from a Sci-Fi comedy called "Tripping The Rift" - If you haven't seen it, SEE IT!!!!!!....
Also, thanks for the knowledge of WTF the backwards piano thing was, I've always wondered myself. Actually, it's driven me mad, I've wanted to use it in a video at some point....
Looking forward to LRR coming to Australia. (Ok, one or two of you...)

The CSI stuff is all totally, totally wrong. The science is wrong, the technology is wrong, it is all wrong. Very little of what they do is possible, much less actually done. There are a few aspects of basic data collection that are accurate, but that's about it.
This has been a major problem with the court system, as members of juries disregard evidence that doesn't fit the expectations they've developed from watching CSI, and demand evidence that cannot be reasonably procured (i.e. expecting that if a person were in a room, there be fingerprint/hair evidence indicating this).
Forget the link - I can't seem to make it work properly.

I require a dance of intellect. Put on your thinking shoes!
Dance with us, LRR! Dance with us into oblivion!
Do not question me! I control your arms!

This is going to be so much fun.
Could you post some figures in how the Desert Bus is performed? As in, how much does an hour cost and does the price increase by a curve or is it flat. How loch does it take for a donation to be added to the pot? Is it done manually or automatic? That sort of things.
And could anyone help me in finding the top score of Desert Bus? The highest score I found was 12. 96 hours is a bit to play, but there could easily be higher.

Guys, what part of "a week isn't enough time" didn't you get? Giving us one week's warning, twice, doesn't cut it.
Also, you can't be pumpkins after Halloween.
FAIL.

Yay! Carving all those was fun, and I'm glad y'all liked the photos. Emma's pumpkin was basically awesome! So was Cake's, but I have to admit to liking Emma's more.
EDIT: And, since I feel like pointing it out, the pumpkins were watching the LRR Halloween Special, where the Narrator is telling Paul about how his costume is too dark.
I won a rank for incessant rambling about the Halo 5 opening.

actually most of the technology they use in the lab on CSI is the actual equipment that is used in the real labs. And a lot of the science is accurate, just not all of it.
What is the breakdown for the money? If someone donates a dollar, for example, how long would that make you drive?

I have just updated the Desert Bus site with just this information:
http://www.desertbus.org/the-donation-process/
Big thanks to everyone who has donated already (except whoever donated $0.22).

I think they will stop paying eventually:
Total Money $10.26 Hours 8 Days 0.33
Total Money $102.07 Hours 31 Days 1.29
Total Money $1070.80 Hours 64 Days 2.67
Total Money $10 104.50 Hours 97 Days 4.04
Total Money $100 952.11 Hours 131 Days 5.46
Total Money $1 007 439.84 Hours 165 Days 6.88
Total Money $10 052 477.33 Hours 199 Days 8.29
Total Money $100 304 888.34 Hours 233 Days 9.71
Total Money $1 000 853 692.41 Hours 267 Days 11.13
Total Money $10 685 696 139.43 Hours 302 Days 12.58
Total Money $106 623 089 429.58 Hours 336 Days 14
For the crew to play a week straight they would need to raise a little over a million dollars. For two weeks of play they would need about a hundred billion dollars.
As Einstein said 'Compound interest is the most powerful force in the universe'.
