I loved the video before, and the re-edit is even better. I didn't notice it before, but it does seem more concise now.

Good work!

Flow is much better now, and the removal of the title cards also lets the residual funniness from one joke flow into the next one, increasing it's funniness, whereas before the title cards broke it up, so it was joke-break-joke, now it's joke-joke-joke. Nice improvement. Also, ding ftw.
Although, I must say that on the past experiences part, the title cards worked better, but I guess you can't have it both ways, and this improves the whole video, rather than just one part.

I really liked the old version, but this one is definitely an improvement. Still, I agree that the montage of jobs was better with the paper lead-in.

Anyway, nice re-edit. As long as Matt still shoots first I'm fine with you retconning parts of your videos.

HAN SHOOTS FIRST!!!

Okay, no seriously...

I liked the redo very much. It was noticably snappier and was an all around improvement. The video went from good to really good. Top notch.

I think in this case Matt punches first.

I noticed you blurred out the website of the company, mostly because you brought attention to it on the left side between 2:18 and 2:19. :D

Yep, I was just going to post about this....
You can see the highlighted oval in the vid at the time frame listed above.

I like the new edit -especially the past experience bit having the job titles superimposed on the shots of Matt instead of on the "notes".
Can anyone send me v1.0 of the vid?
(private message me if you can -thanks!)

I hope the S4 DVD has both versions, if only to contrast and compare.

I once went to a job interview 23 hours late and told them they would be stupid not to hire me. Quote "even though I'm not as dedicated or motivated as the next guy I'm smarter than you all"

Well... I've been working there for a few months now.

I really don't know how this happened.

a vast improvement, but now i noticed that nathan and matt were kind of smirking at some points, they need to work on playing a straight face, otherwise its much less funny, graham definately had it down while being humped by matt tho.

The first take I admit to totally blowing it, but I have a lot of deadpan experience.

In that vein, I refuse to believe Nathan was smirking unless it was intentional. That man is Dead. Pan.

Having balls the size of small boulders, since you were so straight with them? Or there wasn't a next guy...

As for the Vid, I liked the re-edit better, for the reasons most people have spouted off. However I specifically like the Past Experience part better, because all of the jobs were instantly recognizable, so you could focus on the Jargon counterpart of the job.

Oh, how I love this video. Nathan is very dead pan, but he also plays the talent agent/store manager very well.

Speaking of talent agents, I'm kinda sad because next Friday night (Nov. 30) my friend is having a kick-ass birthday party and i have work. The theme is "The Aristocrats". As in the joke.

Seriously? I preferred the older version. While I did miss the pings, I found the whole check box thing quite funny and a refreshing change from the usual X ways to Y, but if you yourself had reservations on it and it helped you sleep better at night or what not, then two thumbs up. :) Mind you, the music break at 4:40 was probably the only quip I would have had. Still, regardless nice George Lucasing anyway. (Matt you rocked hard!)
