I did what you said Matt, I IMDB'd it....And now I just wanna rent it have a movie night just so my mates and I can bag the absolute CRAP out of it. Lol at the CG, I found a few comments actually COMPLEMENTING the CG on IMDB...
Anyway, yeah with CoD4 I've heard nothing but huge raves about it, almost tempting to buy a whole new computer just so I can play the damned game. (Currently running an intel laptop, with a 915GM\GMS 910GML graphics chipset. 128 meg, wouldn't run the game even if I was willing to overclock the thing....Which I'm not.)
And lol at James' reaction to Desertbus. "I've started playing a game now, trying to line the steering wheel up with the white line in the middle of the road..." I can just see the insanity beginning. 0.o
BTW, I actually preferred the older version of the How to ruin a job interview, I didn't find it too long at all. In fact, I sorta found the new one a bit too short.
Finally...YAY! Exam time for me!

Is heroin a painkiller? Is heroin a painkiller!?
It's pure opiates, for crying out loud! Why do you think the withdrawal symptoms for opiates are agony and torment?
[edit] Also, Graham: the word you were looking for is 'obliquely'. 'Obtusely' means something completely different.

I require a dance of intellect. Put on your thinking shoes!
Dance with us, LRR! Dance with us into oblivion!
Do not question me! I control your arms!

I feel like it is more a Ridley Scott thing.
I mean, Blade Runner is FAMOUS for its director's cut and special cut and magnificent cut and final cut and epilogue cut
that is a better name, i think.
THE BLADE RUNNER
FIX'D

Aww no challenge this week, I was looking forward to actually try out one, since finally decided to sign up.
I hope James had much fun with Desert Bus, also i agree with what was said of Assassin's Creed. -no spoilers below-
VERY repetitive, each time you go around the three towns it might be slightly harder, but really no difference. The only that really is keeping me from continuing is the storyline. I do want to know what happens next, so I play when I get bored. It's pretty much like a time-filler game for me, one thats pretty to look at.

I think "Lucas" has established itself thoroughly enough as the term. "Blade Runner" is not going to supplant it, for a whole bunch of reasons.

i made my girlfriend (who's a huge king fan but never read the dt series) read the first three books. she didn't like them. i couldn't figure out why until i realized that he'd lucased the whole bunch of 'em. how very insulting. as patrickc said, why the hell didn't he just make the final books consistent with where he'd already been going? it just so clearly shows how very half-assed it had gotten by the end.
