I was going to comment on Jedward here but then I realized just how much rage that would induce in me.

I assume the two characters are meant to be American given how they riffed on everything, including Canada, but not America?

No Netherlands?! You mention France and Germany, but not us, again? I am insulted!

Also, is it weird the only books I recognized behind Andy and Kathleen were the Discworld novels?

Many English speakers avoid saying "The Netherlands" due to a creeping fear that it can't possibly be pronounced the way it is spelled.

Actually it is. Intersting fact: The reason it's called that is because roughly half of our country is below sea-level (no joke).

I'm not going to lie, this one didn't make me laugh in the slightest.
But that doesn't mean it's not good.
In fact, it's so accurate that it's too accurate to be funny. I'm reminded of a production company here in Australia which makes satirical TV shows (notably "Frontline" and "The Hollowmen") which were the same. You watched them and you went "Yes. This is probably exactly how it happens."
(It's worth mentioning that "too accurate to be funny" is by no means an insult.)

Though if you ask me, the problem with French people is not that they're rude, but they do smoke a LOT. It's really distracting when there are so many other good smells you could be smelling, like say, the smell of really good food (which France has plenty of).

I found most of this one not funny. Just not my kind of humor I guess. (I think it's mostly the fact that seeing people fighting makes me uncomfortable)

And then it did a heel face turn and suddenly it was funny again.
I especially loved the stinger.

I love Andy, he just makes everything better.

I love the quicker parts of this, it felt like these characters would be great in a Rapidfire series.

Heh, I had to stop and go back, because I missed the first few (stupid cold).

It was fun and funny and made me feel a little better...

...heck, I'm gonna go rewatch it now. :D

I agree that I didn't find this one that funny, since most of it was just Kathleen insulting places. The joke only came along when the mother was mentioned, and I realised on the bus earlier that this sketch would be HILARIOUS if they were just trying to find places to traumatise (but not kill) the mother into never seeing them again.

It might be that I live in Melbourne which is relatively free of dangerous creatures but I am a little tired of the 'Australia is full of deadly creatures trope'.

That's the second time I've heard the term "swimming knives" with regards to Australia's surrounding oceans. Are they a real thing? Some kind of naturally sharp finned fish? If so, WHY WOULD YOU SWIM THERE?!?

I enjoyed the video, thought it was very funny. Its also always good to see Andy participating, I don't think there's a single video he's involved in I haven't hardily laughed at.

She's referring to sharks.

Personally, it's the jellyfish that scare me. Specifically, the one whose toxin is so painful you will be awake and screaming through near-lethal levels of morphine.

Head over to the Australian Wildlife page on TV Tropes, scroll down to "Fish and aquatic creatures" and have a read. Feel like going for a swim? :)
